How Does It Work?
Each group has 3 hours from start to finish in the Treetop Adventure Park. Groups of 15-20 participants
will be taken to through our Interactive Training Program on our Demonstration Course with a certified
Guide. The guide will teach the participants about their equipment and how to use the Treetop
Adventure Park. All participants will have to demonstrate their ability to follow Boler Mountain’s safety
practices before entering the course. This takes approximately 20 minutes. Following the Training
Program, participants will be escorted to the Treetop Adventure Park where they can play and explore
for the remainder of their time.
Groups of 15-20 participants are taken through the Interactive Training every 30 minutes. If you have a
group of 20-40 people, your group will have different start and end times. To accommodate this time
difference, Boler Mountain Treetop Adventure Park Staff can facilitate group activities such as
Geocashing, Nature BINGO, team building and communication challenges. Please let the Welcome
Centre know if you are interested in facilitated activities upon booking.
What Should You Know About Boler Mountain’s
Treetop Adventure Park?
CERTIFICATIONS
Our Treetop Adventure Park guides are trained according the most recent industry standards. All of our
courses and ziplines are certified by the Technical Safety Standards Act (TSSA). Courses are inspected
daily by our certified Treetop guides.
CLOTHING & RECOMMENDED GEAR
Please ensure that participants are dressed appropriately for the weather. A positive experience starts
with being comfortable. Choose clothing and footwear that is appropriate for outdoor activities. Please
take into account daily weather and dress appropriately. Remember that layering clothing is a great way
to stay warm. If you get too hot, you can always take off a layer. Below are clothing guidelines you
should consider:
 Avoid wearing jeans as they restrict movement
 Please avoid loose clothing and tops with drawstrings
 Running shoes are recommended; sandals & flip flops are NOT allowed
 Gloves are recommended, but optional; we sell gloves in the Welcome Centre
 Do not wear jewelry, such as long earrings, bracelets or necklaces
 Ensure long hair is tied back
 Cameras can be taken into the Treetop Adventure Park using a camera strap attached to your
harness
EQUIPMENT
Safety is our main priority at Boler Mountain that is why we choose the best and most current
equipment on the market. Our Treetop Adventure Park will use Elderid full body harnesses and Petzel
helmets. Boler Mountain has chosen to use the revolutionary Elderid Smart Belay System. This Pulley
Karabiner System will provide more safety for our visitors because accidental unclipping is virtually
impossible. One karabiner will always be clipped and closed. All of our equipment is certified and
routinely inspected. Participants may not use their own harness/equipment. All equipment required to
participate will be provided by Boler Mountain.
LIABILITY WAIVER
All participants must have a signed Release of Liability prior to participation. If the participant is under
the age of 18 years, a parent or guardian must sign.
WEATHER
Boler Mountain’s Treetop Adventure Park operates rain or shine! Please ensure that participants are
dressed appropriately for the weather. In the event of thunder & lightning, high winds or heavy
downpour we will temporarily close the course.
CAFETERIA
We will have a variety of food items such as snacks, granola bars and beverages available at a
reasonable cost. Boler Mountain does have a group catering menu upon request. Healthy lunch options
can be ordered in advance and ready for your group when you complete the course.
WHAT IF A SOMEONE DOES NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE?
We encourage all participants to try the course and conquer their fears, but if they choose not
participate; there is a trail on the ground below the course where they can walk underneath. Those who
finish the course early can also follow along below the course. It is a great place to watch, cheer on
friends and take photos.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Participants will be able to leave their belongings in cubbies in the Welcome Centre. We suggest that
you leave valuable items at home the day of your trip. Rental lockers are located on the main floor and
cost 50¢ per use. Boler Mountain is not responsible for the loss of any personal items.
