Boler Mountain’s latest expansion offers a form of recreation for those who crave activities that are healthy, inspired by nature and that promote personal growth and a sense of accomplishment. Built in our natural Carolinian forest behind the ski trails, the Treetop Adventure Park activities include ziplines, ropes courses and other treetop challenges such as swinging foot bridges, Tarzan swings, pirate nets, multi games, tightropes and hanging logs all suspended up to 30 feet in the air! Boler Mountain is dedicated to safety and will employ the latest technology to ensure a safe and fun experience for businesses, teams and corporate event. With 5 separate courses, Children’s, Beginner, Intermediate, Full Zip Course & Advanced Course, there is something for everyone. End your adventure at Boler Mountain with a Big Zip Finish; a tandem, 900 foot zipline; the longest in Southern Ontario! ADMISSION FEES Individual Good for all Courses Children’s Course Groups 15 or more, all Courses Corporate 15 or more, all Courses, including Team Building Activities $47 $24 $37 $45 Our Group Program includes: All safety equipment Interactive Training Program on our Demonstration Course Our Corporate Program includes: Group activities such as Geocashing, Nature BINGO, Team Building Activities, Ice Breaker Games, facilitated debriefing at the end of the day, etc. Guided Tour (1 guide per 20 participants) All safety equipment Interactive Training Program on our Demonstration Course Please Note: All rates are subject to HST. The prices above are for Corporate and Group Programs only. Minimum of 15 participants are required upon booking. Corporate/Team rates are available anytime. Please phone the Welcome Centre to schedule your date. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon booking. Remaining balance can be made prior to your departure, with the option of paying by cash, credit card, debit or cheque (made payable to Boler Mountain). Invoicing is possible; please contact the Welcome Centre prior to your visit. How Does It Work? Each group has 3 hours from start to finish in the Treetop Adventure Park. Groups of 15-20 participants will be taken to through our Interactive Training Program on our Demonstration Course with a certified Guide. The guide will teach the participants about their equipment and how to use the Treetop Adventure Park. All participants will have to demonstrate their ability to follow Boler Mountain’s safety practices before entering the course. This takes approximately 20 minutes. Following the Training Program, participants will be escorted to the Treetop Adventure Park where they can play and explore for the remainder of their time. Groups of 15-20 participants are taken through the Interactive Training every 30 minutes. If you have a group of 20-40 people, your group will have different start and end times. To accommodate this time difference, Boler Mountain Treetop Adventure Park Staff can facilitate group activities such as Geocashing, Nature BINGO, team building and communication challenges. Please let the Welcome Centre know if you are interested in facilitated activities upon booking. What Should You Know About Boler Mountain’s Treetop Adventure Park? CERTIFICATIONS Our Treetop Adventure Park guides are trained according the most recent industry standards. All of our courses and ziplines are certified by the Technical Safety Standards Act (TSSA). Courses are inspected daily by our certified Treetop guides. CLOTHING & RECOMMENDED GEAR Please ensure that participants are dressed appropriately for the weather. A positive experience starts with being comfortable. Choose clothing and footwear that is appropriate for outdoor activities. Please take into account daily weather and dress appropriately. Remember that layering clothing is a great way to stay warm. If you get too hot, you can always take off a layer. Below are clothing guidelines you should consider: Avoid wearing jeans as they restrict movement Please avoid loose clothing and tops with drawstrings Running shoes are recommended; sandals & flip flops are NOT allowed Gloves are recommended, but optional; we sell gloves in the Welcome Centre Do not wear jewelry, such as long earrings, bracelets or necklaces Ensure long hair is tied back Cameras can be taken into the Treetop Adventure Park using a camera strap attached to your harness EQUIPMENT Safety is our main priority at Boler Mountain that is why we choose the best and most current equipment on the market. Our Treetop Adventure Park will use Elderid full body harnesses and Petzel helmets. Boler Mountain has chosen to use the revolutionary Elderid Smart Belay System. This Pulley Karabiner System will provide more safety for our visitors because accidental unclipping is virtually impossible. One karabiner will always be clipped and closed. All of our equipment is certified and routinely inspected. Participants may not use their own harness/equipment. All equipment required to participate will be provided by Boler Mountain. LIABILITY WAIVER All participants must have a signed Release of Liability prior to participation. If the participant is under the age of 18 years, a parent or guardian must sign. WEATHER Boler Mountain’s Treetop Adventure Park operates rain or shine! Please ensure that participants are dressed appropriately for the weather. In the event of thunder & lightning, high winds or heavy downpour we will temporarily close the course. CAFETERIA We will have a variety of food items such as snacks, granola bars and beverages available at a reasonable cost. Boler Mountain does have a group catering menu upon request. Healthy lunch options can be ordered in advance and ready for your group when you complete the course. WHAT IF A SOMEONE DOES NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE? We encourage all participants to try the course and conquer their fears, but if they choose not participate; there is a trail on the ground below the course where they can walk underneath. Those who finish the course early can also follow along below the course. It is a great place to watch, cheer on friends and take photos. PERSONAL BELONGINGS Participants will be able to leave their belongings in cubbies in the Welcome Centre. We suggest that you leave valuable items at home the day of your trip. Rental lockers are located on the main floor and cost 50¢ per use. Boler Mountain is not responsible for the loss of any personal items. MEDICAL CONDITIONS Please ensure that the group leader is aware of the participants’ medical conditions and passes the information to the lead guide on the day of your visit. HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS Please Note: There are height restrictions for our Treetop Courses.
