NET Ministries is a team of young men and women who are highly dedicated and motivated to serve within the Catholic Church. The team members come from a mixture of geographic areas, ethnic and family backgrounds. They believe that this mix adds to the team‘s effectiveness in relating to young people. The Retreat theme focused on Leadership on the first day and Healthy Sexuality on the second day. Students were involved in warm-up activities, listened to talks and viewed various dramas and skits. They then shared stories, opinions and prayed in their small groups with their group leader. Thank you to the Year Eleven Religion and Life Teachers, Year Eleven Form Teachers, Mrs Lee Perks (Year Eleven Coordinator), Nurse Liesa Franchina (Care Centre Nurse) and Ms Lucinda Nolan (Year Eleven Teacher) for facilitating small groups and assisting with supervision over the two days. Our hope is for this year group to continue their faith sharing and we will pray together as a Year group at Friday‘s Mass in the Chapel. The way in which our Year Eleven students conducted themselves over the two days was excellent and a credit to their parents.
