Guess the Disney Song!
This year, our Music Express Magazine is highlighting songs from Disney movies. Let’s
find out what you know about Disney movies and the music that everyone loves to sing!
If you think you know the answer, put your full name, teacher’s name and your answer on
a sheet of paper and drop it in my box outside the art/music room. Two winners will be
chosen one week after the Midway Messenger is released!

This Disney song has the same name as the movie.
In the film version, the song is sung by Mrs. Potts (a teapot) and the two main
characters are dancing in a beautiful ballroom.
This song won a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1992.
Multiple Choice Answers:
A) Beauty and the Beast
B) Pinocchio
C) 101 Dalmations
Good Luck! Mrs. Adams

What’s Up in Art with Mrs. Hall
The theme in the Art room lately has been printmaking! A print can be made from anything with
texture by rolling paint on it like a stamp or by doing a crayon rubbing. Third and fifth grade students
just wrapped up their printmaking projects using foam and paint. Third grade made Greek Vases, while
fifth grade made Andy Warhol Civil War prints. Second grade made different kinds of prints by using
texture plates and sponges in their Fish Bowl Habitats. Look for these and other projects on display at
Midway!
I am in search of Yoplait yogurt cups for a special project in the Spring. I hope to use them for a fun
Paper Mache project. If you are spring cleaning and looking to get rid of some things, the Art room can
always use donated items such a yarn, egg cartons, buttons, feathers, etc. If you have any questions
about what can be donated, please email me at ashall@dcpsnet.org Thank you for your continued
support of the arts!
