Practice of SADEC’s institutional mission
SADEC’s mission, sustained on research,
education and community participation is
carried out through the provision of health
services, the promotion of environmental
health and sanitation and the establishment
of actions to facilitate the individual,
economic and social development of
SADEC’s target population.

During the year 2006, SADEC cover with information, education and services to an
estimated population of 349,763 inhabitants.

 1,311 Health Promoters (volunteers)

515(94%) Employees in SADEC’s medical programs
 32 (6%) Employees in community programs
 Medical programs consisting of:
 Hospital de la Familia with 110 hospital beds
 Hospital Santa María-SADEC with 65 hospital beds
 Primary care clinic
 Nursing school in partnership with UACJ (280 students)
