It is the annual WINTERFEST of WHEELS. The other news is that Ole Man Winter has his way in the eastern Even Rat Rods can be cool This is a different rod Wild 1931 Chevrolet part of SD. This year was no different with VERY slippery roads. The good news was it wasn’t too bad on move in day so they had a great selection of Rods, Customs , Machines and Trucks along with a variety of bikes. Thanks to Denny for furnishing all these “cool” photos of some of the cars on display at this quality show. Several of the cars stayed in Sioux Falls until coming to the Counts show held 2 weeks later due to the extreme weather on Sunday and Monday. Denny will attest to how slippery it was pulling a loaded trailer down Interstate 90 with a strong wind pushing you all over the road. Denny’s interest in eary ‘60’s Impalas is evident Rare Classic ? He saw many accidents and had some close calls himself! That reminds us of 3 years ago when 3 Counts members took 3 cars to Winterfest and had the same experience coming home, right Steve, Floyd and Bob! At least everybody made it home safe both times! Annual Over The Hill Gangs STREAK to be held at Campland on the Bay in San Diego, California over Mothers Day Weekend 2016. May 6th, 7th, and 8th. This is going to take much planning on all club members parts. If you plan to attend you need to send in an entry form by the end of MARCH 2015. Those needing motel reservations in San Diego will have help finding a place to stay by the group that was here for our Black Hills Rod Run last July! Skip has done a lot of pre planning so we can all cruise at about 350 miles a day in a group for safety and convenience sake and stay overnight at specific locations and arrive in San Diego on May 6th. In time to enjoy the beach festivities from start to finish. The plans are to travel on mostly 2 lane roads so it won’t be so boring as traveling on Interstate Highways that far. R C Club for Boys Church RESPONSE Wellfuly Wellsprings Z Club members & recipients It was an Interesting presentation Black Hills Humane Society Western Dakotata VOTECH Gary Kreun, Counts Car Show chairman made sure all the car show bills were paid and then set up a check presentation at the Counts club house on Tuesday March 22nd with all but 2 of the Charitable Organization representatives present but two. PKD and Cystic Fibrosis and they will receive their checks from Gary personally. There were a lot of happy representatives there that night.
