Time to Talk
DESCRIPTION
CONTACT
For parents/carers who feel
embarrassed or unsure about
how to talk to their child about
sex and sexuality.
www.parentlineplus.org.uk
Time to talk can register
parents/carers with a
group which will help them
communicate with their child
about how to have a happy,
healthy sex life when the time
comes.
When parents/carers register
for a group, a member of
the Parentline Plus team will
phone them to discuss what
group would suit them best
and will try and match them
with parents of similar aged
children.
Parents/carers can also register
online should they prefer to do
this as a telephone group.
Face to face groups are
available throughout North
London but are not always
available at all times in all areas.
Parents can, however, call the
Parentline Plus Freephone
number and register for 1:1
support from a trained parent
support adviser. The same
parent support adviser will
make 1 call per week over 6
weeks and each call lasts an
average of one hour.
To register for any of these
services and to find your local
office or support group call:
