Happy Days are Brewin’ in Milwaukee Join us by advertising at the 2015 NASCOE National Convention August 12-15, 2015 Potawatomi Hotel and Casino 21 years have past since Milwaukee hosted the National NASCOE Convention and our year in the lime light at the national level returns in August of 2015! In 1994 Wisconsin was selected to be the host State for the NASCOE (National Association of USDA – Farm Service Agency County Office Employees) convention. This is a very competitive process to become the host state, as all 50 States want to show off their agricultural industry and businesses closely tied to agriculture to their fellow members from across the Country. Who are NASCOE members and who do they represent? The National Association of USDA’s Farm Service Agency County Office Employees (NASCOE) is an organization that represents the county level employees of the Farm Service Agency (FSA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This professional association represents the interests of all county office employees of the FSA, regardless of membership. We originally chartered NASCOE In 1959 to provide a nationwide, nonprofit nonpartisan, nongovernmental association through which the county committee employees of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) could render better service to American agriculture by having a national medium for the exchange of ideas and information, and to facilitate closer cooperation in working toward solution of mutual problems. Our members (over 6,000 strong) work one on one with each and every farmer and rancher across this country, and over 70% of us are still actively farming or ranching. The rest of us are either renting our land out to a neighboring farmer or have moved off the farm and are still helping Mom and Dad or Grandma or Grandpa on the farm when we can. Our agency is unique in all of Government as we have a locally elected FSA County Committee that is in place to help oversee the operations of the office. How many members do you expect to attend the national convention? We are planning on 750 to 1,000 members to attend due to the excellent location in the Midwest in Milwaukee, WI. Remembering that this is a 100% volunteer organization, and attending the national convention is 100% out of our members pockets that can attend, they visit each and every vendors booths and get extra promotional information to bring back to their offices that are in virtually every County in the United States for their co-workers to see and share with the farmers and ranchers that they work and live with in their communities. How much will it cost for booth space to advertise our products? There are several options for advertising, we have created the Cheese Club to help you make the best choice for your products. Here are your cheesy options : Here is an excerpt of the sponsorship page in our 2014 Convention program. If provided, we will insert your logo on a sponsorship page in our convention program as well as on publications issued to attendees throughout the week. Are you interested in advertising with us? We have contacted you because we know that you are as passionate about American Agriculture as we are. Your support of our organization will be repaid by creating brand recognition with the national network of NASCOE members. (The majority of whom are USDA, Farm Service Agency employees.)
