The ergonomic support engineered into each Arctic spa

The basis of Arctic Spas® engineering begins with simply the strongest
shell in the world. Multiple layers of hand rolled, filler-free fiberglass
create a lifetime-guaranteed shell capable of supporting several tons
of water and people, without the need for additional support. Most
shells require either wood supports or foam to help strengthen a much
thinner shell. Our cast acrylic finish also features Microban™ to prevent
any growth of bacteria, mold or mildew on your hot tub surface.
The theory of insulation works the same for spas as it does for houses. House A illustrates the proper
method for maximum efficiency and prevented heat loss. Unfortunately most spas are insulated
like house B, with most of the insulation in the basement and the heating equipment outside! You
wouldn’t heat your house like this so why your spa?

The strength of our shell allows us to insulate a little differently than
everyone else. Almost all spas have insulation sprayed on the shell or
completely fill the cabinet with foam. Arctic Spas® insulates the full
perimeter of the cabinet but leaves the shell unsprayed to allow the
transfer of heat. Our HeatLock® system uses all of the heat produced
by the equipment to help heat the water. Other spas simply vent this
heat to the outside and rely on the heater element to do all the work.
Using the waste heat to maintain the water temperature significantly
reduces the heating cost of the Arctic spa. In the event of a power
failure the insulated environment provides freeze protection for several
days. Equipment noise is also reduced as the perimeter insulation acts
as a noise barrier.
Access
Being able to get to all spa components in the
future just makes sense.
All Arctic spas come standard with insulated removable
access panels on all sides of the cabinet. Many companies
bury hundreds of potential problems completely in foam,
and servicing becomes a nightmare when this foam needs
to be removed and replaced to perform any service. With
an Arctic spa, it’s simple. Remove a panel, perform the
repair and replace the panel. We’re simply being realists
when we tell you that some fitting will leak during the life
of the spa.
Our easy accessibility also gives you the ability to upgrade
your spa in the future. As new technology develops or as
your needs change, the Arctic spa can easily be upgraded.
There is no need to trade in your spa every few years, when
we can simply add jets, pumps, lights, music, purification
or any other features in the future. Having to trade your
spa in every few years to keep up with technology will get
very expensive.

Arctic Spas® come standard with our exclusive Italiandesigned and manufactured White Water Motor. This
innovative externally-cooled and closed-body design is
completely sealed against water and dust, resulting in
the most durable motors available anywhere. All White
Water motors sit atop vibration-isolating rubber mounts
and of course, are positioned inside our HeatLock®
insulated cabinet - ensuring silent, consistent operation
year after year.
Each White Water motor is capable of delivering 270
gallons per minute of flow at 4 horsepower. This
amazing ratio of flow rate to power consumption allows
our engineers to deliver you the broadest range of
massage experiences - from gentle and soothing to firm
and vigorous - all with the least impact on your power
bill.

The World’s Finest Cover:
Castcore®-Mylovac
Longest Lasting Cover. Period.
To top it all off, we offer a cover that is unlike any other in the
industry. The Castcore®-Mylovac cover starts with foam 2 or
3 times as dense as the industry average. We also insert a metal
“C” channel into the foam centers. This creates a cover capable
of supporting thousands of pounds of weight. Never worry about
snow loads or kid loads again. We then wrap these inserts in a
metal/poly bag (similar to a coffee bag). This bag is then vacuumed
and heat sealed. This technology is the only system that is capable
of completely keeping moisture off of your cover inserts. Wet and
heavy covers result in constantly increasing running costs as well
as regular cover replacement. Longer wind flaps, locking straps,
carry handles and an insulating baffle along the entire seam, finish
off simply the best cover in the industry. This cover will save you

Heaters fail more often than any other spa component. This is because most
spa heaters use a heating element submersed into the water, directly exposing it
to the potential hazard of chemical imbalance or poor quality water (a problem
usually not covered under warranty). Arctic Spas®’ Tru-Guard™ heater uses the
latest in heating technology to maximize efficiency and reliability for your peace
of mind. The Tru-Guard™ heater is sealed from water exposure with the same
protective barrier used to coat commercial acid tanks. This patented coating
prevents the build-up of minerals and shields against element corrosion.
Arctic Spas® offers one of the most technologically
advanced and user-friendly topside control units
available. Engineered to perform in every season,
the digital temperature display has solid state
accuracy. Besides fingertip temperature control,
the topside control unit oversees diagnostics,
flow switch failure, over-heat protection, freeze
protection, and safety lockout. Heat and filtration
cycles are all programmable.
The self-diagnostic feature of the controls allows for
easy servicing of the spa. In many cases our service
technicians can isolate and solve problems right
over the telephone.­
Reflex Torsion Hose
The backlit display has the capability to display
Fahrenheit & Celsius and can be inverted for
viewing from inside or outside of the spa.

Arctic Spas® is the first company in the industry to use Reflex Torsion Hose
in every spa. This highly specialized pipe is designed to fit externally over rigid
PVC, which allows greater gluing surface, higher water flow and eliminates
fitting leaks due to hose movement. Water in the spa hoses can be heavy and
this pipe actually swells to absorb stress from the fittings, which guarantees
no problems. Reflex Torsion Hose is clear with a color-coded strand of PVC
running through it. This makes for easy troubleshooting and allows us to see
the colored glue when we water-test each spa at the factory.

Jets Redesigned
Built For You
Arctic Spas®’ Jet Set configurations allow you to control flow and
water pressure to maximize your enjoyment. Focus on those areas
where deep massage is most needed, or lay back and relax while
the energizing leg and hamstring jets do their work. The diverter
gives you control of the water flow to the Master Massage,
pulsating or adjustable jets. Focus the turbulent flow on yourself
during a solitary soak, or share the wealth of jet combinations
with family and friends. A turn of the wrist will set you on your
way to becoming revitalized, relaxed and rejuvenated.
Great jets give great therapy.
In the interest of providing great massage without jet
failure, our research and development team has spent
years trying to solve two major problems associated
with jets.
First: Most rotating or pulsating jets have parts
that either wear out or bearings that clog up and stop
spinning. Arctic Spas®’ patented bearing-less design
minimizes wear and contact points resulting in jets that
continue to provide an amazing moving massage while
minimizing failure.
Second: Many jets use a flexible tab design to hold
the jet in place. These tabs become brittle over time
and snap off resulting in failure of the jet. Arctic Spas®’
new thread-in design has virtually eliminated jet failure
for this reason.
The result is a long-lasting, amazing massage without
large jet replacement costs.

More jets does not necessarily mean a better massage. Jets that provide a moving or
pulsating massage feel much better than a simple directional massage, and cover a much
larger area. Adjustable jets that allow the control of flow are important as we all like
different strengths of massage. Great jets give great therapy.

Arctic Pillows
Finally a pillow that works.
After years of issues dealing with poorly placed,
deteriorating pillows, we believe we’ve finally come up
with the ultimate pillow design. Our new telescoping
design adjusts to perfectly fit varying heights of bathers.
The pivoting mechanism also cradles the neck to
maximize the comfort. The pillows are still removable
for cleaning but will never be found floating around the
spa. Finally, we’ve changed the product the pillows are
made from. Most pillows are made from a polyurethane
foam. These pillows absorb water and can deteriorate
quite quickly in a hot tub environment. Our new pillow
is made of a rubber like material called ethylene vinyl
acetate. This material (used for CROC TM shoes) unlike
foam, does not absorb water or deteriorate.
Summer Doors
Due to the amazing efficiency of our HeatLock®
system, in warmer summer environments we
will often see spas maintaining 40+ºC (100+ºF)
temperatures even with the temperature
setting turned down. To alleviate this issue
we’ve developed a louvered, screened door to
replace one of the insulated doors during these
hotter months. These doors release some heat
from inside the cabinet to moderate water
temperatures.
Arctic Chiller
Cool down when the mercury’s rising.
Turn your hot tub into a cool pool during
those months when the temperatures have you
thinking more about cooling then heating. The
Arctic Chiller uses solid state cooling to drop
your water temperature when you need it. Our
revolutionary cooling system cools the air inside
the cabinet, which in turn cools the water; and
we do it without refrigeration, so no Freon,
compressors, pumps or expensive refrigeration
mechanics. Cool down in the comfort of your
spa while getting an amazing massage, and for a
fraction of the price of a pool.

Active-Skim Filtration
Lasting Scents Aromatherapy
Pristine water with a minimum of fuss.
Sooth your body, mind & soul.
Arctic Spas® use a simple and effective filtration system called Active
Skim Filtration. A telescoping weir adjusts with the water level to
effectively skim the surface of the water (where most of the oil, skin,
contaminants, etc... accumulate). The integrated basket rises above
the water level when pumps are off to prevent unwanted release
of contaminants back into the water. Additional water is drawn
from the bottom of the spa through the suction fittings and is then
screened through our high capacity filter before returning through
the equipment and back to the spa. Our polypropylene filter is
capable of filtering particles as small as one micron and has up to
900 sq/ft of filter media in a single filter. This depth filter traps and
holds impurities inside the filter, rather than just on the filter surface.
The efficiency of our filter allows us to eliminate chemicals such as
brighteners, defoamers, descummers and filter cleaners. The filter is
also disposable, eliminating the need to wash and clean dirty filters.
A great filter system and an amazing water filter translates into a
wonderful hot tub experience every time.
The power of scent to positively change your state of
mind is a widely accepted and utilized natural therapy,
and a perfect enhancement to a therapeutic soak. Each
Arctic spa equipped with Therapy Air incorporates
an aromatherapy system that introduces fragranced
air directly into the spa. Our unique aromatherapy
canisters release fragrance when opened and can be
turned off when not in use. The combination of
scent stimulation and hydrotherapy is powerful and
soothing for both body and spirit.

Therapy Air
Lighter, bubblier massage.
Air, like water, can be used for therapeutic massage.
Arctic Spas® offers an available therapy air package on
all spas. We start with a 1.5 Hp air blower that forces
wasted heat from the motors out of multiple air jets
throughout the spa. Therapy Air provides a gentler,
bubblier massage than that of water jets. Unlike most
other spas that draw cold air from the outside, Arctic
Spas®’ Therapy Air System draws warm air from the
heated air space under the spa providing a warm and
comfortable massage.

OnzenTM Salt Water Care
(Optional upgrade)

blends. Digitally controlled!
Arctic Spas® has developed the Onzen Salt Water system as a method
of automatically sanitizing your hot tub water. After the initial salt
application, you no longer have to physically add concentrated
sanitizer to the water other than to ensure that residual sanitizer
values are adequately maintained after periods of high use - no
more pucks to buy, no dispensers to reload. Our titanium electrodeequipped salt cell converts the saltwater solution to sanitizer, and as
this solution reverts back to its natural form (salt) after sanitizing,
you should never have to add more salt to your hot tub between
water changes!
As your bather load changes, the system can be adjusted simply
through low level programming on the spa pack control. Also,
because Onzen creates a pure sanitizer, your hot tub will require
fewer water changes, and your water quality will be better everyday.
Hybrid Salt Water Ozone by Arctic Spas ®
Harness the amazing purifying powers of Ozone
Finally an ozone system that delivers what has long been promised!
Arctic’s Hybrid Ozone system creates, atomizes and integrates this
amazing oxidizer into your spa water. Created within our exclusive
Hybrid Ozone generator, a significant quantity of ozone is steadily
atomized by our V3 360 degree injector. This process maximizes the
number of ozone particles that come in contact with organic matter
contaminants. Next, this mixture is held in our proprietary vertical
mixing chamber to maximize the contact period. What this translates
to is the perfect compliment to our Onzen sanitizing system.

Arctic Ozone
(Optional upgrade)
Nature’s natural sanitizer.
Ozone is perhaps nature’s most powerful purifier. It is widely
used to sanitize drinking water because it is pH neutral, and
breaks down organic contaminants quickly and with no
residual chemicals remaining in the water. Arctic Ozone uses
Corona Discharge technology for ozone production. The
ozone is injected through our Lippert injector where it is
mixed thoroughly with the hot tub water. It is then held in our
mixing chamber for extended contact time. This system gives
the ozone enough contact time in the water to effectively do
its job. A good ozone system always means less chemicals and
less work maintaining your hot tub.

Sitting in water with the sound resonating through the shell and
water creates the perfect environment for vibroacoustic massage. The
human body is mostly comprised of water and sound waves will pass
right through, massaging as they go. While all frequencies of sound
waves will massage, very low tones in the range of 46-68 cycles per
second have been proven to soothe and relax muscles and tissues
throughout the body. Ask about our Sonic Massage CD designed for
the Aquatremor system.

Western Red Cedar Cabinets
A cabinet designed to last as long as a
totem pole.
Beauty, strength and accessibility are built into every
Arctic Spas® cabinet. We construct each cabinet
using Western Canadian clear red furniture-grade
cedar. Corners are rounded with tongue-and-groove
vertical cedar dadoed into top and bottom 2 x 4
rails. The sturdiness of our cabinets is incomparable.
No sagging, shifting or misalignment will occur. All
come with up to eight inset access doors, two on
each side, allowing easy service and upgrades to any
part of the spa. To finish the cabinet, two coats of a
special, protective wood treatment is applied to prevent
moisture and UV damage.
Forever Flex™ Cabinets
Maintenance-free Cabinets.
The Forever FlexTM cabinet is the alternative to our cedar
cabinets. Most spas have a simple interior cabinet framework
surrounded by plastic panels. The Forever FlexTM cabinet starts
with a full interior fiberglass cabinet complete with built in
access panels. This interior cabinet has the same strength and
durability as our standard cabinets. A durable, maintenance
free plastic paneling is then used to finish off the product.
