First Time Guest?
MISSION CUBA 2016
If this is your first time at West Park Church, we are glad you are here. If you
would like to learn more about West Park, here are some suggested next steps
to help you get connected.

Complete one of our Connection Cards located in the seat back in front of you
and place it in the offering plate. We will be happy to send you any
information you request.

Visit our Guest Centre in the Atrium. Pastor Charles and his wife Sherryl will
be there and would like to meet you. You will also receive a welcome gift and
some information about our programs.
What can I expect on Sundays at West Park?
We believe that it is important to develop a global
partnership. As a local church we have a mandate to
serve globally, and it would be most beneficial to
choose one place where we can go deep in
relationship and visit often.
A team of 8 people will be travelling to Cuba on October 28 for 9 days to work
with a local pastor. We will be doing leadership development with local
pastors, running a VBS, and doing a men’s retreat. Please pray for a fruitful
time of ministry and that the team can discern what a future partnership
could look like.
What are your services like?
We offer three worship services at 10:30 am, one in English, one in Mandarin,
and one in Spanish.
What is there for children?
During our worship services, we provide loving care and an engaging
experience for kids from birth through grade 5. Please take your child(ren) upon
arrival to the Kids’ Registration Centre to check them in for KidsWalk.
A Parents’ Room is available for those with restless little ones. There is a
monitor so that you can still enjoy the service and some toys to occupy your
children. Our ushers would be happy to point you in the right direction.
What is there for Jr. High?
Every Sunday at around 10:55, we dismiss the Jr High students to go to the
youth room. We will watch a short clip of the previous week’s sermon from the
main service. Here students get Bible teaching, small groups, games, a chance
to make new friends, laugh, grow spiritually together, and sometimes have
free food!

candy, please), and then return it along with $7 cash or cheque (made

this year will be going to Haiti, Nepal, Ukraine, Chile, Uruguay, Costa Rica, El
Salvador, Senegal, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Sierra Leone,
and Ivory Cost.
WEST PARK GLOBAL OUTREACH
 Join us on Thursday, November 10 from 7:00-8:00 PM in the youth room for
an evening with two of our Global Partners. Come and hear first hand what
God has been doing in Honduras over the past several years .
Need Prayer/Got Questions?
Today, Elder Dan Bird will be available at the front of the auditorium after the
service to pray with you. Our elders are also available by email during the week
at elders@westpark.on.ca should you need prayer or counsel.
“WHERE’S WALDO” (aka Pastor Charles) What was I up to last week?
Great final meeting before our group goes to Cuba next week. Got ahead on
sermon planning for November. Spent a day and a half on long term strategic
planning. Attended a funeral. We had our newcomers brunch Sunday with over
60 newcomers, plus 50 helpers. Amazing! 7 meetings.
