Western Cooperative Credit Union would like to
announce our newest Ag Loan Officer in our Dickinson
branch, Linda Schroeder. Linda has been with WCCU for
eight years as a Real Estate Loan Originator before
accepting this position. She grew up on a farm and is proud
to call Dickinson her home. She and her husband now own
and operate their own cattle ranch outside of Grassy Butte,
ND. Linda is also a graduate of Dickinson State University.

Upcoming Annual Meeting and Membership Meeting
WCCU Seeks Volunteers for Positions
The 78th Annual Meeting of Western Cooperative Credit Union will be held on
Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Grand Williston Hotel (formerly Airport International Inn) in Williston, ND. Elections will be held for positions on the Board of Directors and
Supervisory Committee. If you are interested in being nominated for one of these
positions, please contact Supervisory Committee Member Jim Ryen at 701-572-0136.
The Dickinson Membership Meeting will be held on
Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Elk’s Lodge.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES!
Looking for some money for college? If you are a
Western Cooperative Credit Union CU Succeed
member and a high school senior or college freshmen (ages 17-19) you are eligible for a Western Cooperative Credit Union and Credit Union Association
of the Dakotas scholarship!
1. Western Cooperative Credit Union will offer
seven $500.00 college scholarships. Those
eligible for this scholarship will receive an
application by mail, however additional
applications are available at any branch of
WCCU. The deadline for the
applications will be February 8, 2016. Please

2. The Credit Union Association of the
Dakotas, the statewide credit union trade
association, is offering five $500.00 Dakota
Credit Unions’ High School Financial
Scholarships to high school seniors who are
members of any ND credit union. These applications will be available at any high school offices
and at all branches of Western Cooperative
Credit Union. The deadline for the application is
March 7, 2016.

“Star Student” Recipients Cullen
Weigel and Keaton Smith!
Cullen is a senior at Williston High
School. He has excelled
academically with a 3+ GPA
throughout his high school career
while overcoming adversity early on
after being diagnosed with a vision
deficit. He plays in the high school
band, jazz band, and pit orchestra
for school musicals. He was on the
homecoming court for 2015 and will
be attending Close Up in
Washington DC this spring.
Keaton is a freshman at Dickinson
High School. He has a 3.3 GPA. He is
involved in his youth group at
Calvery Chapel, is involved in Close
Up and the Technology Student
Association, and works part time.
