Both female and
male volleyball
teams lost their UCB
finales after two
very tight games.
The UCB (Unión de
Colegios Bilingües)
volleyball finales
were held in Tilatá (a school member of the UCB) the
25th unexpected results. The girls, who played against
the home school Tilatá, lost 2 ‐ 0 (25‐23, 25‐23); and the
boys, that played against Richmond School lost as well
with a 2 ‐ 0 score (25‐18, 25‐22). The two loses were
unanticipated taking into account the fact that the
female team had won the last 4 tournaments in a row.
But, as many people say, "A good team is only
known when it's defeated", and that's what the players
and their coach, Omaira Suárez, want to prove now.
See the interview here.
Every year, "Papás en
Acción", parents of
students, team up to
decorate the school for
the holiday season. From
the 15th of October to
early November, the 6
parents of this committee
met to help with this
purpose. More
much more than the
minimum of three
thousand to help
provide for those in
need. More
