UBAH: BERSIHKAN MALAYSIA
I would like to thank you, the people of Klang, for giving me
the opportunity to serve as your Member of Parliament.
cost of living, education, healthcare, crime, cronyism, electoral
fraud, environment, and many more.
In this leaflet, I share with you our highlights over the past
five years.
Yet, this crisis provides an opportunity for Malaysians to demand for a better nation: A nation where wealth is more fairly
distributed, a nation where environmental, health, housing, and
transport and employment concerns take priority over profits, a
nation where the government is accountable to its people.
Early on, I decided to adopt a balanced approach to my responsibilities – between servicing the Klang constituency and
pushing for structural and policy reforms at the national level.
Both are equally important if we are to improve the quality of
life and promote democracy in Malaysia.
I believe our achievements should be celebrated and
acknowledged, but at the same time we apologise for our
weaknesses.
Malaysia is in a crisis after five decades of poor governance
by the country’s political and economic elite. The depth of the
crisis of governance is evident in so many ways: corruption,
On election day, I call upon the people of Klang to vote for
change.
It is time to UBAH and BERSIHKAN MALAYSIA.
I look forward to working with you in building a better Malaysia
in the next five years.
