House Rock
The perfect multiple night
destination for all seasons.
Start with the amazing House on the Rock Attraction.
Alex Jordan’s awesome retreat built atop a chimney of rock
opened to the public in 1960, but that was only the beginning.
Alex used to explain his sprawling creation of collections, displays
and galleries by saying that “one thing just sort of led to another.”
On your self-guided tour you will explore some of the world’s
most unique collections including the world’s largest carousel,
a 200 foot sea creature, automated music machines and
much more!
After your tour, plan to stay at The House on the Rock Inn.
The perfect end to the day. Located a short distance from the
Attraction in Dodgeville, WI it features comfortable lodging
with many amenities.
Include a visit to other exciting area attractions.
The surrounding area features Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin and
American Players Theatre in Spring Green, the Wisconsin State
Capitol in Madison, The Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson
and the many attractions in Wisconsin Dells including the
Dells Boat Tours. We are also located a short drive
from Dubuque, Iowa and the Celebration
Belle Cruise Line and Galena, Illinois.
