Ministry Fair 2013
As I shared at last week’s homily, St. Francis
of Assisi has many ministries that help our parish
carry out its mission; “to teach, to sanctify and to
serve.” Because there are so many different ministries
here at St. Francis of Assisi, many of you may not realize just how many we actually have within our community! In order to help familiarize you with our ministries, we are hosting a Ministry fair in the halls this
weekend. We invite you to come by, walk around and
see how blessed we are here at St. Francis of Assisi.
The purpose of our fair is twofold; first, we
want to afford our community the opportunity to see
the support and services we offer here at St. Francis
Church. Perhaps there is a particular ministry which
attracts your attention or has the potential to fill a
spiritual need you have in your life. The second purpose of our Ministry Fair is to expose some of the
needs we have here at St. Francis of Assisi. If you have
been looking to support our community as a volunteer
and don’t know what our needs are or where you best
fit in, our Ministry Fair is perfect for you!
Our fair this year is also taking place on commitment weekend for our capital campaign. How appropriate for us to have both events on this same
weekend as it gives everyone a good perspective at
what St. Francis of Assisi is all about: Serving those
who are searching for an encounter with God. Hence, I
invite you to please remember to put your pledge card
in the collection this week, drop it off at the parish office or hand it to me personally and to stop by our ministry fair to see the good work, which is God’s work,
that we are doing here at St. Francis of Assisi!
Please join with me as we come “together in the work
of the Lord.”
Almighty God, we ask You to send
Your Holy Spirit upon this parish community.
Help us to face the challenges of our
parish ministry.
May You inspire each of us to give sacrificially
to our campaign,
believing that he who has begun a good work within us
will accomplish far more
than all we ask or imagine.
Amen

vẫn có Chúa quan phòng trong tất cả những hoàn cảnh éo le đó (cc 16-18) ;
phải kiên trì (câu 19).

nuestro ministerio parroquial. Ilumínanos a

mayor necesidad. Por semanas nuestras Cajas han
estado vacías… Por favor, traigamos comida enlatada
y otros alimentos que nuestros hermanos necesitan
urgentemente. ¡GRACIAS!
