Bando Smart CiEes 2014 Each project should : • Be realised in 2 – 3 ci,es or communi,es • Include industry, city planning authori,es which should also reflect the view of the consumer organisaEons, research community, local Small and Medium Size Companies (SMEs); • In addiEon each project should co-‐involve 2 -‐ 3 follower ci,es • Ensure that all proposed ac,vi,es are a part of ambi,ous urban plan. • Projects should demonstrate and validate aYrac,ve business plans that allow large scale replicaEon of fast economic recovery in ciEes of varying degrees of economic condiEons The Commission considers that proposals requesEng a contribuEon from the EU of between EUR 18 to 25 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
