Stained Glass. With over 20 years of
experience, I take this medium to a new ‘dimension’ with
many of my works incorporating a 3D effect. It means
everything to me when someone can relate to the subject
matter of my work or have their feeling and senses
transported to a ‘special’
place.
It’s a very exciting art-form
and I love it!

using the grain, colour and the
scent of the wood for inspiration
Jennifer turns the rough wood
into a piece that acts like art
and performs a function.

finely honed surface with the
natural live edge of the log.

Kai-Liis McInnes, a member of the Canadian Society of
Painters in Watercolour, is inspired by the alpacas on her
farm and recent trips to Mongolia, Africa, Peru and the Arctic
to create her (often whimsical) watercolour and acrylic
paintings. She also spins, designs and knits the wonderful
alpaca fleece.

traditional quilting is my passion and
the expression of my creativity.
I am inspired by the ‘hand’ and
glorious design of fabrics and the
challenge of new techniques.
Machine-pieced and -quilted, I then
lovingly hand stitch the binding of
my quilts for a tidy finish.
