June 25 – Drop by your local library to pick up a self-paced reading record any time during the summer. How Summer Reading Club Works Summer Reading Club is a self-paced program that encourages you to read throughout the summer. If you can’t read yet, you can include stories that have been read to you. Step 1: Visit any branch of the Greater Victoria Public Library and pick up a reading record. Step 2: Read for a minimum of 20 minutes every day. Step 3: Each day, write down one thing you’ve read on your reading record – just use one box per day so that you don’t run out of room before the end of the summer! Step 4: After you’ve read for 7 days, visit the library and collect your weekly prize! Step 5: Repeat steps 2 to 4. Keep up the great work! 4 Weekly Prizes (while supplies last) Week #1 SRC bookmark Week #2 Enter to win a gift certificate to a local bookstore Week #3 SRC tattoo Week #4 Individual pizza coupon from Panago Week #5 Swim pass Week #6 Enter to win a gift certificate for Playmobil or Lego Week #7 SRC medal or paperback of your choice Have fun reading!
