1st Annual HXPMODE
T heFlatland
Jam at Broadway Pier
was a success! It was a mixture of
flatland freestyle BMX with flatland
freestyle skateboarding, in the heart
of San Diego's downtown harbor.
House tunes were pumpin' as well as
music provided by DJ Johnny Lopez
of GROUNDWORK MAGAZINE.

Riders came from far away places. A flawless, smooth, flowing routine was pulled by Manuel
Prada who came from Costa Rica. A special appearance was made by Casey Snyder from
Colorado. Aaron Frost, who came from Michigan, wowed the crowd with his unique style of front
wheel tricks. Cool spinning tricks were done on the back wheel by a Japanese rider named Jose'.
Some of the San Francisco crew showed up including the legendary "Mutt". Riders and skaters from
the Los Angeles scene were there. Special appearances were made by Shawn White of BIZHOUSE
BIKES and Bobby Carter of DIVERSION Video Productions. A very special appearance was made
by legendary "Wheelies" rider Edgar Placencia. X games rider Chad Johnston came and amazed
the crowd with his unique style of vertical back-wheel rolling tricks.
Some of the SK8 KINGS showed up, Richy and Maria Carrasco, along with Primo Desiderio.
Richy impressed the crowd with stunning spinning routines on his skateboard. Primo amazed the
crowd with astounding flatland skills on his skateboard.

Flatlandfuel was created with one thing in mind: flatland. It's that simple, a flatland shop that deals strictly with flatland parts and accessories. Sure, there are
other shops that sell the same products we do but nobody has everything we
have and nobody can give you the flatland advice and knowledge that we can.
This store is for you.

inTRIKat was founded in 1988.My friends and I used to film ourselves and I
edited a demo tape to promote our crew. I used my friends' dads camcorder
and borrowed my parents VCR.I added music through my stereo. didn't know
what I was doing technically, but I knew what tricks I wanted people to see.
Through the years inTRIKat has expanded and has one goal: infinite progress.
Every project is a learning experiment. We have made many friends in the journey and look forward to meeting other new people and visiting new spots.
