This season (2013/2014) marks our 25th Awards Presentation & Banquet. Twenty-five seasons of National martial arts competition across 13 states and two countries, and twenty-five years of the PKC International Karate Championships. In accordance with the celebration, we will be recording our 25 years in print. All past and present PKC Directors, Tournament Promoters, Affiliate Schools, National Champions, members and a few others avid supporters of the PKC National Tournament Series, will have a mention and photo (if available) in this 300 page book. Multi Season First Place PKC National Champions and “Big Dogs” will have full page color dedications including several photos (where available), and will include a variety of our member’s achievements across the three sister organizations, PKC, USKK and USKAlliance. We have been accumulating photographs since the early 90’s. If you have attended the PKC International Championships and Awards Banquet (especially as an award winner), we likely have your photo on file. But if you would like to make sure your photo appears in the book, please send a photo with a caption telling us who is in the photo, when and where it was taken, and to which category you apply (PKC Promoter, PKC Affiliate. School, PKC Top Ten National Champion or PKC Internationals “Big Dog” Grand Champion) and we will be happy to include the photograph. Photos must be received by June 30, 2014 and may be e-mailed to pkc@pkchq.com The book is currently underway (although there are a few people unidentified, 95% of every person in each photo is identified by name). Full of color photos and 25 years of stats and memories, it is shaping up very nicely. Complete to page 200 (as of April 30, 2014), it will be a “must have historical reference and keepsake”, and ready for printing on schedule. Books will be available for distribution at the PKC International Championships held August 29th-31st, 2014. If you are unable to attend, but would like to have a copy mailed, please contact pkc@pkchq.com prior to the event. *Note: Because we don’t have 25 years of information about members and their specific achievements within each region of the PKC, regional achievements will not be included. This book concentrates on an overview of the National Tournament Series and National achievements. Registrations must be postmarked by August 22rd to receive the advanced discount.
