Dear Fellow Field Trialers:
The Iowa Sporting Spaniel Club cordially invites you to a four day weekend of Springer and Cocker Field
Trials at Big Springs Range near Searsboro, Iowa. The grounds are 11 miles south of Grinnell, Iowa.
We will be hosting the following events:
Friday, December 4th – English Springer Spaniel Open and Puppy
Saturday, December 5th – English Springer Spaniel Amateur
Sunday, December 6th – Cocker Open and Puppy
Monday, December 7th – Cocker Open and Puppy
Our All-Age ESS judges are Gunther Boettcher (WA) and Brent LeMaster (OH). Our Puppy judges are Elaine
VanderSlice (WI) and Ray Jack (NE). Our Cocker Judges are Jason Givens (WI) and Bob MacDonald (ME).
During the field trial a local church group will be serving delicious home cooked food. The serving
station will be located in the house. While the Machine Shed will serve as our gathering location for
free coffee and hot chocolate. Friday and Sunday night we will have additional dining opportunities.
Grinnell offers several hotels for you to select from. The trial headquarters will be the Comfort Inn & Suites
