General information: Wawrzaszek ISS is a leading producer of firefighting and other special vehicles in Poland and

Proposals for cooperation: The PGI-NRI is deeply interested in establishing or rather re-opening and cultivating
contacts with Ethiopian government bodies, especially the Geological Survey of Ethiopia, Ministry of Mines and
Environmental Protection Agency of Ethiopia in order to screen the potential fields of cooperation and launch joint
projects.

The proposals put forward by representatives of the Ethiopian side and their European partners include:
mineral resources – Development of an advanced approach for mineral predictive mapping and its
integration into the development of high resolution governance maps for remote areas. Based on the
expected economic potential of the mineral wealth an integrated planning approach shall consider key
human, natural and economic resources and provide the base for a balanced development.
Hydrogeology – The general objective of this proposal is to implement EU experience in the management
of groundwater resources and supplies of drinking water and of procedures for their protection. The
specific objectives are to introduce an integrated plan for harvesting and protecting water resources that
will generate new business activity and stimulate networking within the community so that the
environment and the health of the local population will be improved and new job opportunities created.
The ultimate aim is to hold back the process of desertification in rural areas.

Exchange, exports its products to European, Asian and African countries; hopes to establish durable relations in

General information: Servicing and parts for the mining and construction vehicles/machinery.
Company profile: manufacture and repair of mining machines (mainly used in brown coal mining), production of
devices for repair and construction of railway and tramway tracks, sale and installation of low-power container-type
power generation sets of 5.6kW (7kVA) to 80kVV (100kVA) powered with diesel oil.
The company is a member of SOLAR Building association, operating in Libia. We are engaged in acquiring contracts
for Polish companies mainly in the field of civil infrastructure such as the construction of public facilities including
schools, hospitals, refineries, roads, power grids and much more.
We have international approval for repair of mining machines used in the underground mines: PREx FTZU 11 Ex
R 0027.
