EASY DOES IT
Coast to Coast is celebrating its 40th year as one of
Australia’s largest suppliers of RV accessories.
Coast to Coast is an Australian owned company
that has grown to become a leader in the supply
of local and imported parts and accessories to the
Australian and New Zealand RV industry.
Founded in 1975, Coast to Coast began life as
a small business with only four team members, a
single office and a showroom in western Sydney.
Its strong reputation within the RV industry
(for providing excellent customer service and
consistently delivering quality products at affordable
prices) led to a steady expansion into what the
company is now.
General Manager, Tony Canta has been at the
helm since 2004, starting out at Coast to Coast as a
systems implementation officer. When asked what
he thinks the driving force behind Coast to Coast’s
success is, he said:
“Our team – a positive working environment is
not only good for our staff but it is essential in terms
of customer retention. It is important to continue to
achieve, it’s a simple philosophy that can be applied
to life in general.”
This year Coast to Coast hit the ground running
with the arrival of two ground breaking imports
from the US. “Diversifying our product offering
is imperative to keeping customers interested,
especially if it can give their business a boost,”
said Tony.
ADCO and Lippert Components, major players
in the RV accessory industry in the US, now have
exclusive relationships with Coast to Coast.
ADCO manufactures RV covers using DuPont
Tyvek material. It effectively blocks 99.8 percent of
UV rays, quality that attributes to every nine out of
10 RV covers sold in the US being an ADCO. Coast
to Coast will stock ADCO covers to suit campers,
caravans and pop tops in a range of sizes, all
backed by a three-year warranty.
Lippert Components Inc. (LCI) is the
manufacturer of the Schwintek in-wall
slide-out system.
“Schwintek will be a key feature of our OEM
initiative as we will not only assure on-demand
service of supply, but also technical training and
assistance to all our customers,” said Tony. “We are
thrilled to bring this popular and proven innovation
to the Australian and New Zealand market.”

MOERDALE MOTORHOMES: NEW AND
DIFFERENT DESIGN
We have spent many years researching
our design while on the road talking
to travellers and asking what they
would like in a motorhome. This is why
we custom build to order. Simplicity,
strength, dust proofing, insulation,
comfort, interior roominess were top
of the list as were easy service, simple
replacement and quality materials.
Our base model is 7.6m long x
2.3m wide x 2m high (internal measurements), height is flexible to customer needs.
Cupboards and fittings have been designed for easy use and we regularly receive
comments about how much space we have created.
Another feature is the extra wide door that allows all internal fittings to pass
through. All plumbing has easy access for service by any handyperson. The very
large external boot (men’s shed) allows secure storage for all travelling accessories.
The resulting easy access raised bed also gives internal storage for large items and
the steps for smaller things. When compared to similar-sized motorhomes, the price
of under $200,000 is very competitive.
We have chosen a fridge/freezer that is well suited for outback heat and has
been tested to work in temperatures above 50°C for long periods. To run this, all LED
lighting and extensive 12V outlets is 760W of solar panel plus 420 amps of battery.
A 1000W inverter is also standard to run small 240V appliances when in a remote
area. To keep it all healthy is a 25 amp smart charger.
It has all the expected regular appliances, gas stove/grill/oven, microwave, fully-
equipped bathroom, air-conditioner, washing machine and hot water, etc. The 50mm
insulation in the walls and 75mm in the roof helps keep a constant temperature. For
example, it could be -4°C outside but 12°C inside without the heating in operation.
A 300L water tank allows long term off-road living. Creative thinking has led to
the external patio floor that is easily deployed, combined with the awning and annex
gives an extra 6.5 square metres of comfortable living space. The awning can also
be used without deploying the floor.
The base vehicle is an Isuzu 500 that has many driver cabin comforts like air ride
driver seat (optional for passenger). Driving long distances is an absolute comfort,
leaving the driver fresh to enjoy the day’s activities. The vehicle provides extra
power for towing, with an optional extra 200L of fuel (giving up to 2000km range).
Service costs can be up to $1000 less than some other makes. The high driving
position means you can see much more countryside as you travel while the stronger
chassis and springs give a comfortable ride and negate the need for jacking when
camping. Our road testing has been conducted over 40,000km including many rough
desert roads. To this date no repair has been required for any part of the vehicle.
Equally important, zero dust has entered. The full manufacturer’s warranty applies.
We also build on smaller truck bases and 4X4 trucks for those who want
something different and prices will vary according to truck cost and fittings.
If you already own a truck – as we did – then we can build it as a slide-on to fit
most trucks, this way it can be lifted off and used as mobile housing while still using
the truck for work; on and off is a simple quick process – our 10-year-old-grandchild
can easily operate the lift jacks to raise the unit. Have your truck and a motorhome
at a very competitive price. Fifth wheelers are also part of our range. Learn more at

When buying a Sunliner one of the first things you will notice is an emphasis
on personalisation. With a belief that each vehicle is as unique as its owner it
has built a company that is dedicated to offering choice. The range includes nine
different series with more than 40 layouts. Couple this with an enormous array of
interior finish and colour choices, and there is no doubt that Sunliner is serious about
delivering on its promise to fulfil its customers RV dreams.
A key component of the Sunliner design philosophy is innovation, both with
style and construction – it’s not afraid to push boundaries. For example Sunliner
was among the first to introduce slide-outs and the drop-down bed systems into the
Australian market. They have also trademarked the groundbreaking ThermoTough
walls and DuraRoof systems, which create motorhomes that are well insulated, light
and strong.
The newest model the Sunliner 40 is an outstanding example of a commitment
to try something new. With a drop-down bed, rear entry door, slide-out lounge room,
full bathroom, art deco inspired interior and state-of-the-art electronics and lighting,
the Sunliner 40 has set a new bar in Australian modern motorhome design.
From a pop-top camper to a 9.6m long luxury touring motorhome, Sunliner is
sure to offer a vehicle to suit the needs of astute recreational vehicle owners.
For more information visit www.sunliner.com.au
Sunliner RV is one of Australia’s leading RV manufactures. With more than
40 years experience under its belt it has had time to refine and polish its
product. With a well-earned reputation for building beautiful vehicles full of
innovation and craftsmanship, Sunliner is a name that is trusted by thousands of
touring Australians.
The difference between a Sunliner and others in the marketplace is in the detail.
It is the flush finished furniture, the satisfying soft click of a well-made drawer or
door, the smooth fibreglass bumpers and spoilers. It is not one thing but rather the
sum of the parts that when combined give you feeling that a Sunliner is a vehicle
of quality.

GO WITH TRADITION AT SPECTRUM RV
Tradition fifth wheelers are a leap above the rest. What puts them there is the
combination of six-star construction and a new brighter and lighter interior.
These beautiful fifth wheelers deliver in terms of strength, technology and
comfort. The construction delivers stability on the road and also when you’re
set up. Some of the features that deliver a reliable six-star construction include
a 12-inch I-Beam, mechanically joined wall studs and sills with reinforced sills
bolted, never screwed, to the flooring. Another superior feature, exclusive to
Traditions, is the thicker side walls allowing for use of better performing ecofriendly wool batt insulation as well as a foam core moisture barrier to eliminate
condensation. Particular care is given to the strength of the framework with
aluminium wall and roof trusses positioned at 400mm centres and floor trusses
on 350mm centres.
Ease of use is a big factor for many fifth-wheeler shoppers, and the Tradition
offers electric super-stabilised entry stairs to the six-point automatic levelling
system with hydraulic jacks. Inside, the inclusion of central vacuuming makes
cleaning a breeze. A 375 litre fresh water tank, a 340 litre grey water tank and a
170 litre black tank all reduce the frequency of having to empty the tanks.
The lighter, brighter interior offers what most US-sourced fifth wheelers
have neglected. Many Australians prefer a lighter interior and the Tradition
now offers a lovely light timber interior in the Sage and Mushroom decor. One
of the most exciting areas of the Tradition fifth wheeler is the attention to the
bathroom and wardrobe which makes them roomy with the feeling of truly being
at home. Tiles or timber floors, double entry bathroom with an enormous shower
and a walk-in wardrobe with built-in drawers makes this area more than a place
to sleep and store clothes, but offers a master suite with a luxurious feel.
Further features include: Memory foam mattress; 6ft 7in bedroom height;
pull-out rubbish bin cupboard; large stainless-steel double sink; custom floor
to ceiling pantry with pull-out; residential toilet with spray asset, copper water
manifold system; premier ducted A/C vents with directional flow design; outside
command centre; extra-large perimeter heating ducts, and an exterior fibreglass
gel coat, just to name a few.
When you invest in a Tradition fifth wheeler from the US you’ll want to know
that all of the conversions are done to suit Australian road conditions as well as
the legal conversions needed for registration and safety. The Tradition arrives
fully converted with 240V wiring throughout, Australian appliances, gas fittings
and certificates, as well as heavy-duty Australian-built suspension and king pin.
The Tradition is backed with our exclusive five-year warranty on the chassis
and suspension.

OFF THE BEATEN
TRACK
All Winjana vans are suitable for freedom camping and are built specifically
for Australian roads and conditions. In addition, the new off-road models
developed by Winjana RV mean getting off-the-beaten-track is even easier
now. Winjana RV has two purpose-built off-road models, the Ormiston 630
and the Strzelecki 520.
The Ormiston is the larger of the two off-road models – very spacious, with
superior fittings and furnishings. The van features modern amenities suitable
for a couple whose main priorities are a lighter van with a shorter overall
length, as well as safe and easy towing.
The furnishings are comfortable and selected for durability; with comfortable
mattresses and attractive oak imported from North America. A variety of
cupboards and cabinets provides plenty of storage room, while the vinyl floor
is ideal for the rougher off-road conditions that the fifth-wheeler is likely to
encounter. The Ormiston has two bedroom layout options. The first includes a
large queen-size bed; the other option splits the larger bed into two single beds
with a night table in the middle.
The rest of the vehicle holds a kitchen area (with a stove and fridge), a wraparound dinette area, and an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity
basin. Illumination is provided by long-lasting, energy efficient LED lights, which
work well with the solar panels that provide power to the Ormiston.
The Strzelecki 520 is slightly smaller, with the same features, furnishings
and fittings as the Ormiston. The main differences are the bathroom is slightly
smaller, and the rear dinette area features café-style seating either side of
the table.
These models are but built to suit off-road conditions with the inclusions of
off-road brakes, tyres, suspension and shock absorbers; extra ground clearance;
and solar.
Both off-road models feature very solid construction. The smaller size vans
offer the benefit of getting into tricky camping spots that larger vans wouldn’t be
able to, due to the easier manoeuvring and reversing of a fifth wheeler.
With a comfortable and practical layout, combined with the driving and
safety benefits of a fifth-wheeler van, the Ormiston and Strzelecki both have
everything you need for an extended trip to the outback.
Custom-built vans are also available, to suit clients’ requirements.

base vehicles, including several 2WD or 4WD options for any travelling budget
or need.
Built by a team of passionate craftsmen, Horizon Motorhomes offers a
personalised ‘tailored to suit’ service which enables unique modifications to be
achieved within the context of the overall design, not a totally unique build (which
would be costly). Customers are given the option to add a substantial range of
accessories and interior design colours to tailor their individual style for their
‘home away from home’.
Horizon Motorhomes are built to perfection, making your touring holidays even
more enjoyable in the comfort and style of your personalised Horizon motorhome.
BALLINA CAMPERVAN AND MOTORHOME CENTRE
BCMC (Ballina Campervan and Motorhome Centre) is Australia’s number one
dealer of built-in recreational vehicles and is the exclusive retailer of Horizon
Motorhomes and sole retailer of Frontline Campervans north of Newcastle.
It specialises in built-in van conversions, meaning the campervan or
motorhome is constructed into the original vehicle shell with no alterations to the
structural integrity of the vehicle, which delivers benefits such as manoeuvrability,
enhanced fuel economy and the feeling of safety. The driving experience of all
BCMC vehicles is like that of a comfortable family car.
With short-wheelbase options for better ground clearance when undertaking
rough terrain or, alternatively, a long wheelbase to increase spaciousness and
therefore luxury of the vehicle, BCMC vehicles cater for any travelling need.
Whether it’s your first vehicle or a replacement, we know it can be a tricky
decision to make when there are so many options to choose from. However,
BCMC makes this decision-making process easy, with an extensive range of
new and used vehicles to choose from and friendly and knowledgeable staff that
have personally travelled in and tested the vehicles. They will take time to fully
understand your travelling plans and guide you in the making the right choice to
suit your needs.

Minnies are already attracting plenty of attention from dealers and customers who are excited to see these
new classic caravans available now.
Winnebago RV has designed and built an entire new range of five motorhomes and two campervans in

MOTEK AND THE
DEALER ADVANTAGE
A common question is:
Why should I purchase
from a dealer?
Let’s look at the some
of the reasons why you
should do this.
INVESTMENT PROTECTION
Essentially everybody likes to protect the investments
they make, and when you think about it your home and
car are the two largest ongoing investments most people
make. A motorhome combines both facets.
Let’s be realistic, there are people out there trying
to scam you out of your hard-earned cash, the only true
protection you will receive comes from a licensed motor
dealer. When you purchase your new or used motorhome
from a dealer, your funds are secure, full stop, and you
are protected by legislation and governing bodies like the
Department of Fair Trading and the relevant motor dealer
governing bodies.
SCAMMERS AND SCOUNDRELS
When you buy privately it is not that hard for the sneaky
online scammers and scoundrels to try to gain your trust.
Once they have either your money or your details they are
gone and you are left wondering why the deal seemed to
good to be true and maybe that you should have bought
from a dealer.
ROADWORTHY AND CONDITION
When you purchase a motorhome or a caravan from a
dealer it has to be supplied in a roadworthy condition. If it
isn’t they have to fix it to make sure it is.
