Welcome to the historic Stockade, a residential neighborhood in one of America’s oldest cities, Schenectady, New York.
The Stockade was designated New York State’s first Historic District in 1962. The cell phone walking tour features
stops along the streets of the original Stockade. Each stop tells a unique story about the architecture and people who
helped shape Schenectady’s 350 year history. Be sure to check back in as new stops are added!
