Focus Ranch is a traditional working cattle ranch that invites guests to share in day-to-day operation. From midMay into September, they run 1300-1400 head of yearling cattle and another 100 head of cows and calves.
Holistic grazing entails 25 moves per season and riding six days a week with the guests. All ages are welcomed
with rides adjusted to meet the skill levels of the guests. The Little Snake River flows through the ranch and
offers guests about 4 miles of catch and release fly fishing highly regarded by even pro fishermen. Fishing is
limited to a few each week to preserve the integrity of fishing holes and guides are available with advance notice.
Special weeks each season will vary from year to year with workshops or clinics such as photography, fly fishing,
birding, yoga, painting, etc. Some Other activities include local rodeos, hiking, mountain biking, swimming in
the river, trips to local museums, historical sites or Steamboat Springs.

The New Haven Ranch is a family owned and operated working cattle ranch on the edge of the Black Hills of
Wyoming near Devils Tower National Monument. Having just 8 guests at a time allows the owners to offer
everyone a very individual experience. When the guests don’t move livestock or check reservoirs and fences, they
may be learning how to rope and shoot, practice team penning or just go on a trail ride enjoying the scenic views
and the abundant wildlife. There are 40 horses and each guest will be matched with two horses as working
partners for the week (walk, trot, canter, between 4 and 8 hours a day, no head-to-tail riding). The lodge has five
bedrooms, free Wi-Fi, a common dining and living area where the home-cooked meals are served, and a hot tub.
There will be weekly BBQs at the New Haven Lake. Guests will be able to visit Devils Tower and, if available,
rodeos and horse sales. The owners are also fluent in German.

Willow Creek Ranch at the Hole in the Wall is a 57,000 acre working cattle, horse and guest ranch located below
