May Member Focus: The Sanctuary Golf Club
The Sanctuary Golf Club
Known for offering country club conditions with daily fee pricing,
The Sanctuary Golf Club in North Canton has five sets of tees,
allowing for golfers at any skill level to enjoy the game. With a
challenging blend of water hazards, sand traps and rolling hills, the
course has matured into a beautiful property in its eleventh year of
operation.
We’re here to serve you and help your overall experience to be a
pleasant one. This includes a friendly staff, lunch offered from our
outside grill that permeates the smell on all areas of the course, a
full bar and a friendly beverage cart attendant.
We offer a full staff to plan corporate, charity and family golf
outings. We also offer a variety of other programs. Couples
Therapy is offered every Friday night from June through August,
for anyone from beginners to seasoned golfers. This is a nine-hole
game with food and prizes after golf.
Every Sunday evening from June through August we offer Family Night. Children under 18 golf free when
accompanied by a parent, and they receive a snack and two experienced golf balls. If one member of the family does
not golf they may walk along with others.
The Sanctuary is home to the Jackson boys, GlenOak boys and girls and
Walsh University women's golf teams. We enjoy and support youth programs.
Owners Bill Lemmon and Bob DeHoff believe in giving back to the
community. Anyone in oncology treatment may golf free at The Sanctuary.
The course partners with Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center and
North Canton Medical Foundation to offer this program. Active
members of the military may golf at a 50 percent discount, plus
we donate hundreds of rounds of golf to charity events.
Check out the conditions
of the course at www.
golfclevelandohio.com
where we regularly rank
in the top 20 out of 200
plus courses. If you
have not played The
Sanctuary Golf Club, we
welcome you—it really
is “The Place to Play.”
Is your company seeking a way to gain some free exposure in the Jackson-Belden Chamber? Each month, the newsletter showcases a member who has been a member for at least one year. The
company must have renewed its membership for the 2014 year and may not have been featured as a “member focus” during 2013. To be considered, send an article (750 to 1000 words) that
highlights your company, services, staff, products, or similar topics to AshleyWinter, awinter@jbcc.org. High resolution logos and photographs may be included. This opportunity is based on
the order in which articles are received. No space may be reserved unless the materials have been submitted. For more information, call the Chamber office at 330-833-4400.
