ThankYou September Showcase 2008 is the 11 th production sale for Moose Mountain Ranch and after all these years we would like to say thank you in some new way. But there really isn’t any other way than THANK YOU!! Thank you to everyone who has helped to organize this sale and for the help on sale day. We know we couldn’t do this alone. Thank you to everyone who has bought foals from past sales and for your continued interest in our breeding program and thank you for letting us know about their progress. We select the catalogued foals early as always and by sale time some foals do not meet our standards and won’t be at the sale. We know it could be an inconvenience to you but if we don’t like them we don’t expect you will either. Thank you for coming and we hope any foals you purchase meet all of your expectations. Bob and Lois Brickley

Double your dollars when you invest in horse health! Here's an exciting opportunity for you to double your investment in horse health — and help the Western College of Veterinary Medicine raise an additional $1 million for its equine health research programs by 2011. Through this new fund raising incentive, Heather Ryan and L. David Dubé have pledged to match any "new" funding dollars to the College's equine health research programs. In total, the donors will contribute as much as $500,000 in matching funds over the next five years. The donors' wish is that this unique incentive will encourage more horse owners, horse sport groups, breed associations and equine businesses to support vital equine health research at WCVM. And remember, any amount that you or your organization can give will make a significant impact on horse health — especially when it can be doubled! Here's how you can activate the donors' challenge: BECOME a donor: as a firsttime contributor to the Equine Health Research Fund, your gift will increase the Fund's annual donations. BOOST your annual donation: the Saskatoon couple will match every dollar that you give to the Equine Health Research Fund over and above the amount of your usual contribution. INVEST in major equine health research projects at WCVM: The Heather Ryan and L. David Dubé Foundation will donate one dollar for every dollar that supports their fund for largescale horse health research initiatives at WCVM.
