It was all about Father’s day! Children told us all about the different ways in which we can say ‘dad’ – ‘Arbol’ (Somali), ‘Padwa’ (St Lucia), ‘Padre’ (Spanish) along with many more. We also read some poems that we wrote about our dads. We used similes and lots of us said that they are as funny as a joker! He drives me to school, Your daddy is so cooool, He’s handy with his tools, Your daddy is so coool! Daddy, daddy cool … He told me to not break the rules, Your daddy is so coool, Sometimes he acts a fool, NO daddy, that is NOT cool! A big well done from Miss Katakia, Mrs Stapleton and Mrs Johnson!
