REO Ambulator
ReoAmbulator™ is an innovative robotic gait-training device that integrates body-weight supported treadmill training with advanced robotics to re-train patients suffering from orthopedic injury or neurological disorders that affect gait and balance functions. ReoAmbulator™ benefits: Combining an innovative and proprietary robot-assisted training platform with an in-depth understanding of neurorehabilitation, ReoAmbulator offers the most advanced rehabilitation solution: Intensive and controlled gait training therapy for adults and children with neurological disorders and orthopedic injuries Dynamically follows the rehabilitation process using two modes: a passive mode with robotic legs that initiate or guide motion, and an active mode for more advanced rehabilitation stages Increase patient awareness, understanding, engagement and motivation by integrating multitask motor and cognitive training modality using VR technology platform Increase ambulatory therapy efficiency by customizing session parameters, supporting patient body weight and enhance a repetitive consistent normal movement Improves therapy management by providing session's information and monitoring of patient's progress Enables customized weight-bearing using robotic legs, gradually shifting load from device to patient Allow patients to participate earlier in a controlled method of gait re-education What our customers say: “Using the ReoAmbulator over the past few months has improved my confidence in activity of daily living, The ability to move my hip and knee in a way that simulate normal walking pattern for many repetition in each session provides me an opportunity to experience a natural walking pattern and allows me to relearn how to walk again..". John (Patient) Advanced management software Advanced training modules The ReoAmbulator robotic rehabilitation system is driven by user-friendly, versatile therapy management software that is designed to optimize results in every therapy session for every patient. The advanced training modules are designed to simulate real life situations Multi-tasking module The system allows therapists to customize settings, maximizing the patient’s benefit and leading to optimized gait training and reduced impairment. Multiple virtual sceneries are available to select and explore, providing the patient variation and a realistic environment while providing real time feedback about speed and distance travelled. ReoAmbulator offers the patient: In addition, motion detection sensors are designed to follow patient movements in real time, and incorporate a patient avatar in the projected scene. A stimulating VR exercise environment designed to engage and motivate training A safe environment to advance through rehabilitation: Adjustable height, force and robot assistance Sensors' closed loop control and will automatically stop the machine for patient safety Built in gait profiles that mimics normal walking pattern Exercises are designed to improve: Gait pattern Balance Weight bearing Speed Coordination ReoAmbulator offers the therapist: An intuitive user interface, with multi-language support Full control to customize excercises specific to each patient Data collection and reporting of treatment progress scoring: Detailed gait analysis and feedback on patient progress Monitoring and tracking of movement quality Ability to print reports and graphs The software is designed for multi-tasking training, and includes upper extremity exercises as well as obstacle crossing. These multi- task exercises are developed for both motor and cognitive rehabilitation. The improvement of patient engagement during the exercise, enhances their motivation to train. The multi tasking is clinically proven to improve gait and balance. Gait analysis module Practice screen ReoAmbulator’s innovative gait analysis module is focused on monitoring gait, and providing precise, real-time auditory and visual feedback to the patient. This feedback is proven to improve the patients' gait. The gait analysis module was designed for patients able to walk without the robotic legs with optional use of the body weight support function. The gait analysis screen displays the desired and actual foot positions. The patient can then correct the future steps. The therapist can adjust step size and frequency during the gait session. At the end of the session accuracy scores are generated. This data is saved and available offline for continued patient monitoring. Flexibility to patient needs Main conclusions: Patients of nearly any body dimensions can easily use the system interchangeably due to the following features: A set of harnesses designed to support a patient height of 90 – 200 cm, easily enabling pediatric as well as adult usage Any patient weight up to 150 kg is fully supported Robotic legs are adjustable to any patient pelvic width between 30 – 70 cm Length 243 cm Ambulator Width 120 cm Height 280 cm Get back on your feet Weight 700 Kg (1560lb.) Treadmill width 70 cm Treadmill length 130 cm Adjustable hip width 30–70 cm Patient weight max 150 kg (330lb.) Patient height 90-200 cm Robotic legs are easily adjustable to children Treadmill speed 0-10 km/hr (max) Robotic legs can be moved out of the way for patients able to walk unassisted without robotic legs Treadmill speed 0-3.5 km/hr (max) About Motorika A short set-up time due to an easy and quick patient harnessing procedure with robotic legs Since 2004, Motorika’s mission is to create Wide (70 cm) treadmill allows easy access for a large wheelchair Built-in treadmill shock-absorbers create a comfortable walking environment on a hard surface Main screen size: 40” robot-assisted solutions to meet the therapeutic needs of patients suffering from Therapist touch screen size: 22” a variety of neurological conditions, including System Rating: 115/230 VAC 3 KVA stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord Frequency – 50-60 Hz injury, as well as orthopedic and post-surgery dysfunction.
