good bone. Head well shaped and filled right down to the end of the
muzzle. Gently curving profile. Good eye shape, placement and expression.
Nicely made neck flows into firm, strong
back and well made and angulated quarters at both ends.
A whomping heavyweight youngster wearing a deep rich mahogany
red coat. Strong head with good width and fill, modest turn and
good finish. Mouth is good. Lovely eye placement and smut markings
enhance impish expression. Heavy round bone all the way down to
her tight feet. Good length of neck into a firm topline
with decent angles at both ends.

For a long time we have looked with admiration on the activity and serious work of
some countries and breed clubs. Today we are
proud to be traveling the same path and hope
to do a decent job for such a noble race the
“Bull Terrier”

In our country we have
records of Bull Terrier in
the Kennel Club de Chile
since the 1980’s. The first
specimen of this breed came
from Brazil, he was a male,
named Jet Cavalier Romany
Storm (born 12/13/1981)
and the first litter was registered 01/09/1989. As you
see, the story of the Bull
Terrier is very recent. On
Saturday, April 19, 2011 with
the support of 17 people
we gave form to a dream of
many years and
The Bull Terrier Club of Chile
(B.T.C.C.) was created.
Since that date the following
mission statement was set:
“Better the breeding, control, selection, development,
responsible ownership and
diffusion of the English Bull
Terrier breed. To bring assistance and advice to the owners,
breeders and fans. Based on
the breed standard.”
In the beginning the BTCC, was
formed with 17 partners that
had the confidence in this project, those that believed without seeing anything. The Bull
Terrier Club was founded by:

collaboration of two members:
Victoria Kazazian and Carlos
Rojas.
As a club we have given our
selves the task of strengthening the image of the bull terrier and to give it a more
important presence in the exhibitions, that is why with lots
of enthusiasm the idea of doing our own “First BTCC Cup”
came to fruition. (In Chile to
date there have been 4)
The basic idea was to contact
a breeder judge, someone
that had great prestige at an
international level, thus hoping to attract more people to
participate in the exhibition.
Humberto Lara was elected,
a Mexican breeder (Hubert’s
Kennel) known in the area…
he has a long list of wins.
Fortunately Mr. Humberto
Lara was excited about our
project and agreed judge our
dogs.
The specialized exhibition
was set for Saturday October
15, 2011 at 8 in the morning.
We all had to get an early
start but our heart full of enthusiasm and pride for what
we were about to accomplish,
this event being the first big
task of the Bull Terrier Club of
Chile. Everybody was nervous
and anxious but when we ar-

rived at the show site, to our
surprise the bull terriers had
come out in great numbers.
Everybody helped and gave
advise before entering the
ring. Grooming the dogs was
important because this was
a way to collaborate with the
rest of
the exhibitors
and
motivate
the new
ones. On
two occasions
the club
organized 2
practical
classes in
the handling of
the dogs
in the ring, which gave the
owners more tools to prepare
their dogs and themselves.
These activities were very successful and the majority of the
dogs were presented by their
owners.
Humberto Lara was a great
supporter of the show, be-
cause of his calmness and
patience with the novice participants, and his encouraging the
public to applaud; it permitted
the public to feel like they were
part of the show. People came
from other rings to see what
was happening in the bull terrier ring. Working as a team we
were able
achieved a
strong presence with
the breed.
There was
a booth
manned by
the Bull Terrier Club of
Chile (BTCC),
where the
members
informed
people about the virtues of the
breed, their care and general
information was given to the
public (as a club we support
the education of the people to
achieve a responsible tenure).
W also had brochures about
BTCC; t-shirts, hats, magnets
and stickers and there were
magazines, comics, movies
and some ceramic figurines
made by one of our members.
For all of us the satisfaction
of a job well done will remain
for a long time. But also the
challenge to keep on working
to consolidate our club and
our specialized “BTCC Cup”…
which we hope will eventually achieve a token of continental character that will
join all the clubs of breeds in
South America.
We will leave a copy of the
report that the judge will
give, but before finishing I
would like to thank all the
fans of the breed in Chile
that believed in this project
(together we can do more),
the invaluable support of
Kennel Club of Chile, thanks
to our family that have always been on our side with
the passion of the Bull terriers.

Phil Jaspers of Notorious Bull Terriers will judge the sweepstakes.
