A Little History... Woodstock Station was originally the Lincoln Railroad Station, built in the late 1800’s. From the beginning, it was a busy station. Logging and paper production were the valley’s main industries and the railroad played a key role. During the summer, the train brought tourists who used the many large and luxurious resort hotels in the area as a base while exploring the region’s many natural wonders. In the 30’s and 40’s, ski trains also frequented the station, bringing skiers from Boston and other cities. Appearing hardier and more informal than their modern counterparts, skiers were loaded on logging trucks at the station and taken to various slopes in the area. In the summer of 1984, Jimmy Fadden and crew sawed the station in half and moved it to its present location. The freight room of the station is now the dance floor and the passenger waiting room is our lower dining room. The stationmaster’s office is still intact and serves as a small dining room. In 1986, The Stock Room was added. In the early days of the railroad, all supplies were kept in the stockroom. It was where you went for anything you needed, and that tradition lives on today. As this menu testifies, our Stock Room is full and has something different on every shelf. During the summer of ‘93, the Porter’s Room was built to provide more dining space. Shortly after, in ‘96, the Woodstock Inn Brewery and Brew Pub was conceived. The 7 Barrel brewing facility would be the proud producer of many award winning ales, such as Pigs Ear Brown Ale. The Brew Pub itself, Woodstock’s homage to a cozy English Style Pub. The turn of the century brought more growth starting with the acquirement of the Sawyer House on the corner of School Street in ‘01 and later the Adirondack inspired Cascade Lodge in ‘06. Alas, the building of the new Brewery, Dam Bar and renovation of the main bar and restaurant in 2012-13 illustrates true North Country style. The new 30 Barrel brewing production facility brought a new industry to our great town and will be the cornerstone to craft beer in the White Mountains. We recycle grains from the brewery in our bakery, source meat from local farms and utilize the freshest local produce when available. Please enjoy our authentic atmosphere and expertly prepared food. Ales are available in 12 oz., 16 oz., 20 oz. or 32 oz. sizes. Try our half-gallon Growlers to go. Most brews available. Our ales are carefully handcrafted in our on premise brewery. Premium hops from around world are blended with the finest quality grains and brewed with pure, deepwell White Mountain water to produce our fine ales. Spent grain is a by product in the brewing process. The wort is drained off to be boiled with hops and what is left called spent grain, which we recycle by donating it to pig, deer and dairy farmers (spent grain increases cow’s milk production by 20%), and the remainder we use in our bread and pizza dough. Brew Samplers If you can’t decide which of our home brewed beers to try, go with the Brew Sampler. We’ll serve you five 3 oz. glasses of the beers you choose. The peppery finish is derived from the extensive rye and pale grain bill. We brew this beer in late August for all the Thru Hikers that visit our brewery. O.G. 1.062 / 56 IBUs / 7.9% abv. Pig’s Ear Brown Ale Grand National Champion for brown ales at the United States Beer Tasting Championships. Medium bodied with a balance of roasted and crystal malts, creating a hearty, nutty flavor. Medium bitterness with a slightly sweet finish. O.G. 1.054 / 25 IBUs / 4.3% abv. Red Rack Ale Cogsman Ale Deep golden in color. Clean, crisp ale hopped with traditional English hops. A slight fruitiness gives way to hop assertiveness. O.G. 1.057 / 5.6% abv. Loon Golden Ale Light golden in color. Dry and crisp with a semi assertive, Fuggles hop bitterness. Hops are prominent, but not overwhelming. Best Golden Ale in the Northeast at the United States Beer Tasting Championships. O.G. 1.050 /30 IBUs / 4.75% abv. Kanc Country Maple Porter A dark, full bodied porter brewed with real maple syrup. Black patent malt character shows through in the beginning, with a silky smooth finish. O.G. 1.069 / 6.0% abv. Amber in color with slight caramel sweetness. Medium hop bitterness. Malty up front with a nice hop/malt balance. O.G. 1.058 / 23.3 IBUs / 5.5% abv. Pemi Pale Ale Best Pale Ale in the Northeast and second overall in the country at the United States Beer Tasting Championships. Pale amber in color with strong hop flavor and aroma. Dry hopped with cascade, it’s the hops that give this pale ale its signature flavor, with a clean, dry finish. O.G. 1.057 / 56.4 IBUs / 5.7% abv. Old Man Oatmeal Stout A creamy, unfiltered oatmeal stout with roasted and black patent malts shining through. Complex, medium to dry palate with a bittersweet finish poured on nitro. O.G. 1.055 / 5.13% abv. White Mountain Weasel Wheat Ale Straw in color with low hop character and bitterness. A light, dry finishing beer. A summer favorite on those hot days. O.G. 1.047 / 4.13% abv. Scottish Ale 4000 Footer IPA Deep chestnut in color. Rich, malty ale with low hop bitterness and aroma. Smoked peat malt gives this ale a subtle smoky finish. A big American IPA using Chinook, Amarillo and Columbus hops that give this beer its bold signature flavor. A salute to NH's 48 peaks! 82 IBUs / 6.9% abv. O.G. 1.054 / 4.75% abv. K&M Root Beer Autumn Brew Chestnut in overall color. Medium bodied with apple and cinnamon flavor and aroma. O.G. 1.055 / 4.63% abv. Good old time root beer handcrafted right here in our brewery. K&M Root Beer is great by itself or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make an awesome Root Beer Float (that’s how Keegan & Molly like it!) You can even take a Growler home with you! Summer Brew Light, crisp and refreshing. The perfect beer for summer. 11 IBUs / 3.8 abv. Wassail Ale Deep ruby hue, a hearty full bodied holiday ale. Very malty with assertive hoppiness combining with alcohol warmth. O.G. 1.079 / 8.0% abv. Fellowship Ale This is an IPA that is orange in color, has a floral hop note and finished with grapefruit bitterness. Brewed in collaboration with Lincoln-North Woodstock Rotary Club. 55 IBUs / 6.4 abv Last Chair Ale A collaboration between Ski NH and the Woodstock Inn Brewery. Last Chair Ale is a blend of two different styles to create one delicious offering. Last Chair Ale offers the wonderful characteristics of a hearty brown ale with the intense hops of IPA. 72.6 IBUs / 5.25% abv Double Pigs Ear We doubled the recipe so you can have double the fun.
