Our Team -- Background
 In the Energy industry, and more specifically PMU/PDC space, we are
littered with numerous vendors and solutions
 Our industry has numerous point specific needs that forces companies to
specialize in their capabilities
 In our industry, it takes a large investment to become a world leader in any
specific area, and because of this the barrier, the “one vendor solution fits
all” is difficult
 Many companies claim that they can do everything, but when you look
under the covers, you see vapor-ware, non-commercial products, or
academic initiatives
 Gartner has suggested in the next 5 years vendors in our space (Smart Grid
and Utilities) will start consolidating (Gartner 2010); however, consolidation
will be based on market dynamics and implementation trends

Our team
 Our team started working together on numerous initiatives
and has grown together
 OSIsoft/STI implemented a PMU solution at Entergy that has been live
for over 3 years
 OSIsoft / SISCO implemented a PMU solution at CFE in 2010
 SunGard has worked with OSIsoft, SISCO, STI at numerous initiatives
world-wide (custom implementation solutions)
 Our team recognized that each of us brings a unique
prospective to the SmartGrid PMU/PDC based solutions
 Our team came together, because we recognized that an
integrated “turn key solution” provides more value than the
individual parts
