elcome to the inaugural Transition Winter Olympics! Our
schedule for the ver y first edition
of Transition’s mountain based
madcap melee reads like a banter Bible for
the piste, with dares, obstacle courses, slaloms, teamwork tests and even a fashion
catwalk. Expect the usual debauched classic
piste based game, with a fresh twist and perfect prizes... Gather your super squadron of
10 mates and sign up at Customer Ser vices.
May the best gang win…
Taking place this Wednesday 16th December, the Transition Winter Olympics will kick
off from 11.00am when the signed up teams
should gather at Chez Lenvers (the Après Ski
venue on the mountain), before embarking on
an eight stop magical mystery tour of the piste
and town that’ll see your team work skills,
personal skillsets, skiing and boarding abilities and loads more besides brought to the
fore.. We’ve Gold, Silver and Bronze medals
for the top three ranking teams, with prizes,
fun bits and bobs and more general daftness
then a Clown College graduation ceremony…
Have you and your gang got what it takes??!
Entrance is €6 per person and you can register your team at Customer Services. See
you in the snow for some serious silliness on
Wednesday!

LEGAL GET TRANSITION SNOW OFF
TO A FLIPPING FLYER!
Under a glorious blanket of stars, grime’s
prodigal son Dizzee Rascal lit the touch
paper on Transition Snow and showed
Avoriaz the best time it’s had since records began (arguably…).
After a stirling grime warm up from the
spritely selector DJ Barely Legal and an
anarchic, messy and extremely fun set from pirate
radios finest Kurupt FM, the stage was primed and
the crowd, flushed with ‘first night of the holiday’ good time vibes, lapped up the boy
from Bow, as the full extent of his packed
back catalogue of surefire party bangers
were flung out. Bonkers, Just A Rascal, Fix Up Look Sharp… We did it all
and more. Thanks Dizzee, it’s always a
pleasure! See you on the slopes, and remember… STAND UP TALL!

Black Butter Records to Transition Snow for a humongous
looking week of label showcases in Le Bistro, our afterhours party palace
that’ll be the venue for some of Black Butter’s most promising talents. Fresh after an
incredible 2015, My Nu Leng head up the
BB gang, with stirling support from Woz,
Kidnap Kid, Bodhi, Karma Kid, Nvoy and
Tazer all popping up throughout the week
in Black Butter’s very own alpine hideaway
rave den!
Last night saw the guys kick off Le bistro
in style as Nvoy, Woz and the My Nu Leng
lads stepped up to the plate to light the touch
paper on a week of epic parties. Tonight sees
Nvoy joined by party starters Bodhi and one
of Transition HQ’s favourite DJs, Woz! So after a day of getting your bum black on the
slopes, come and enjoy a fat slice of Black
Butter in Le Bistro. LESSSSGO!

Lenvers is the daytime shindig
destination du jour at Transition Snow, with daily parties
on the piste between 3-7pm. Located
at the top of the mountain on Le Plateau, Chez will feature an avalanche of
dexterous DJs across the week, with
the likes of fine boogie purveyors The
London Disco Society, Lancaster University’s EDM Society, Nafro:B and
a heap of super special guests who’ll
be dropping in to have a bash at the
infamous Aprés Ski session… LAST

THE MEGA MUSIC CHANNEL ARRIVE IN AVORIAZ FOR
A BASH IN THE YAK…

e’re tres chuffed to welcome in Club MTV for
one hell of a one-off
shindig in the Yak tonight, with a fearsome lineup that
covers everything from Electro to
Grime, via House and Disco. Fresh
from her main stage destruction last
night, Barely Legal is sticking about
for another edition at Transition,
alongside DJ R3:WIRE and Varski,
and an act we’ve been giddy with excitement about for ages… Bondax ar-
rive in Avoriaz as one of our festival
headliners, and we’re sure this will
be absolutely ROADBLOCK. The
smooth House producers have rocketed through the ranks in a ridiculously
short time, with their soulful, fun and
completely unique sound marking
them apart from the rest of the pack.
We’re delighted to welcome Club
MTV, Bondax and all the gang into
the marvelously murky depths of the
Yak tonight… GET DOWN EARLY!

Taking place in Avoriaz’ very own
Thunderdome style, specially made
Snowball arena on Wednesday 16th
December, as participants don specially made helmets, body armour and
gritted teeth in the name of decimating
the opposition in the biggest explosion
of white powder since Narcos…
