Sasha Parker, President and Founder of Esthetic Skin Institute, Inc attended Indiana University as a
business major before refocusing her career and receiving her Associate of Science in Nursing
degree from Broward Community College, over 27 years ago. She served as Assistant Surgical
Administrator of the AMI Outpatient Surgery Center and as Surgical Administrator of the Eye Care
and Surgery Center. Her surgical career has afforded her the opportunity of working with numerous
renowned Plastic Surgeons in the South Florida area. Sasha is also a Registered Facial Specialist
(esthetician) for over 11 years, and holds professional licenses as a Certified Electrologist and
Licensed Massage Therapist. As founder of the former Eclectic Skin Institute, she was the original
innovator and 1st trainer of “medical esthetic hands-on workshops” and has personally trained
thousands of medical professionals internationally for over 13 years. She has trained with medical
esthetic experts throughout the world such as esthetic physician, Dr. Jules Marthan co-developer
of the “Meso-Lift” and President of the Mesotherapy Society (Cerm. Nine) in France and has
trained with prominent plastic surgeons and dermatologists Michael Kane, Arnold Klein, and
Peter Helton. Her workshops have brought her national recognition as one of the most reputable,
comprehensive and responsible medical esthetic hands-on trainers in the US today. ESI is a
recognized and approved trainer by Medicis Aesthetics, Allergan Corp, Carbossi Italiana and is
recognized by numerous laser companies as a preferred trainer.

Ms. Parker was awarded and honored in Washington, DC as Florida Business Woman of the Year in
2004 and again in 2005 and 2006. She served on the National Business Advisory Council between
2004-2006. Because of her outstanding achievements she was inducted into Marquis Who’s Who in
American Education 2006-07, Who’s Who in America 2007-2010, Who’s Who of American Woman
2007-2009, Who’s Who in Medicine and Science 2007, and recently the Global Who’s Who
Directory 2009-2010. Ms. Parker has been a guest speaker on the topics of medical esthetics at the
University of California Irvine, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, National Nurses Business
Association, Society of Interventional Radiology, Cerec Dental Conferences, American
Orthodontic Society, New Mexico Dental Association, as well as local community organizations.
She has authored and copyrighted medical esthetic manual’s, and serves as a consultant to
medical esthetic practices and insurance companies in the US and overseas. She is a founding
member and President of the American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals (AAMEP)
formerly known as the Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses, Inc (AMEN) a non-profit organization
whose goal is to standardize and advance the esthetic medicine specialty in the U.S. Her passion
and talent for teaching have earned her national recognition status as an authority in medical
esthetics making her a greatly sought after public speaker and expert witness. Sasha has been
interviewed and featured in major professional trade magazines (MedEsthetics, Plastic Surgery
Products, NurseWeek, Nursing Spectrum) and appeared on European radio and TV as well as
Dr. Lorraine’ Wellness and Rejuvenation Show in California.
Peter Helton, MD – Dr. Helton received his degree from Michigan State University, College of
Osteopathic Medicine in 1991 and completed a general rotating internship with a surgical
emphasis in 1992. Dr. Helton completed a four-year Dermatology residency at Western University
of Health Sciences in Pomona, and in 2002 he completed an American Academy of Cosmetic
Surgery residency. Dr. Helton is in private practice in Newport Beach, Ca. He is an Associate
Clinical Professor at Western University of Health Sciences, providing training to dermatology
residents and physician assistant students.
As a successful business owner of a home health agency in Broward County from 1997-2005 she
gained extensive knowledge and understanding of business and regulatory guidelines which has
established her as an expert and consultant to assist nursing boards and dental boards across the
country in writing standards.
She has been referred to as, “a visionary and a pioneer ahead of her time”. To that she says,
“I have always been a seeker and giver of knowledge and have had some great teachers along
the way (Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dr. Carolyn Myss, and Bernie Siegal to name a few),
who helped me let go of the fear that stops most of us, and to follow my dreams and my passion.
I am doing just that and helping others to realize their dreams!
Mark Rosenberg, MD, FACEP – Diplomate of The American Board of Emergency Medicine and
The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Elliot Lach, MD – Graduate of MIT and Yale Medical School. Served as Surgery Fellow at Harvard
Medical School and completed a surgical fellowship specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery in the combined Harvard Medical/Brigham and Women’s and Children’s Hospital
Program. Dr. Lach is a board certified diplomate in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery and is a
member, officer or fellow of numerous professional organizations including the American College
of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Lasers in Medicine and
Surgery, and the American Burn Association. Dr. Lach has been on the full-time academic staff of
the University Of Massachusetts School Of Medicine since 1987.
Peter Vash, MD – He is a Board Certified Internist and Endocrinologist. Dr. Vash serves as Assistant
Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA, Los Angeles, Ca. He has spoken extensively both nationally and
internationally on the subject of obesity and eating disorders and has co-authored 2 books, "The Fat-toMuscle Diet" and "The Dieter's Dictionary". He has served on many Advisory Boards and as a consultant
to La Roche Pharmaceuticals, Shape Magazine, Today Show, NBC, and the Maury Povitch Show.
Michael Loss, MD – Dr. Michael Loss, MD received his medical degree from the New Jersey
College of Medicine in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1968 and completed his Ob/Gyn residency
in 1972. He served as the Chief of Ob/Gyn in the United States Air Force at Myrtle Beach Air Force
Base from 1972-1973 and Homestead Air Force Base 1973-1974. Dr. Loss has been in private practice
since 1974 and continues to maintain a private Ob/Gyn practice in Broward County Florida.
Dr. Loss received certifications in Botulinum Toxin A, Dermal Fillers, Sclerotherapy, Mesotherapy,
Laser and IPL from Esthetic Skin Institute.
Michael Lum, MD – Dr. Lum received his medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine
and Biosciences in 1989. He completed a rotating internship in 1990 at Lakeside Hospital in Missouri
and family practice residency at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine in 1992. He also
completed two years of post-graduate training in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Loma Linda
University’s School of Health, is a Diplomate of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical
Examiners, a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Osteopathic Physicians and
Surgeons of California and of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Lum has a
private aesthetic medicine practice in California.

This comprehensive one-day hands-on training workshop explores the applications of
Botulinum Toxin A &B (Botox® Dysport, Purtox) for cosmetic purposes with a focus on the

This two-day hands-on training workshop will focus on pertinent anatomy and physiology
of the skin, assessment,evaluation, and classification of different skin types using the
Fitzpatrick Model. The Glogau, & Rubin models will be introduced. We will explore factors

LASER TRAINING CONSORTIUM
This two-day intensive hands-on training workshop will give an introduction and overview
of how lasers and IPL work, as well as the physics of lasers/IPL and skin interaction.
We will discuss different types of lasers and their parameters. Focus will be on all aspects
of Safety including ANSI, and the Laser Safety Officer. Review of the A&P of skin and hair,
parameters for permanent hair reduction, photo-rejuvenation, vascular lesions,
and tattoo removal. We will discuss the benefits, expected results and outcomes,
and available alternative treatments. Proper treatment protocols and techniques and
a focus on patient consultation, selection criteria, and education will be presented.
We will discuss contraindications, precautions, safety and efficacy issues, as well as

ADVANCED DERMAL FILLER AND BOTULINUM TOXIN A
This live demonstration workshop is designed for experienced injectors who desire to enhance
their injection techniques and creative skills. Presentation will include understanding
the facial aging process, the “New Face” and the use of Dermal Fillers and Botulinum Toxin
A in the upper and lower face. Learn the best techniques to replace lost volume in both
upper and lower face, often termed the “Liquid Face Lift”. Discussion will include the use of
Hyaluronic Acids (Restylane and Perlane), Radiesse, and Evolence as dermal filling agents.
Learn to inject Botulinum Toxin A for bunny lines, vertical lip lines, chemical brow lift, mentalis,
down turned mouth, platysmal bands, under eye bulge, correcting asymmetries, and
more. Learn how to use Dermal Fillers under the eyes to diminish the hollow effect caused
by aging, volumize cheeks and mid face structures, sculpt the jaw line to minimize jowling,
enhance earlobes, and more. Our Expert injectors will demonstrate distinct and creative
techniques to achieve optimal aesthetic results.

MEDICAL MICROPIGMENTATION
Permanent Cosmetics
This 3-day, 30 hour intensive hands-on training workshop will be presented by nationally
recognized practitioner and instructor Ashley Swain. Ms. Swain has been providing
cosmetic and medical micropigmentation since 1995. She has educated and trained
some of the top professionals in the US today. Ashley has conducted seminars for many
prominent organizations including the Dermatological Society, Cancer Society,
Alopeican Foundation, and the Parkinson’s Foundation. She has been interviewed by
local and international media such as the Gold Coast Magazine of South Florida, Vero
Beach Magazine, Palm Beach Post, Boca News Channel 7, The Marsha Little John Show,
and MTV’s“ A Boca Bride Makeover”. She is a member of the American Academy of
Micropigmentation (AAM) and the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP),
the largest professional society representing permanent makeup professionals.
This three day course will present aspects of micropigmentation from its history, benefits,
pre-procedure evaluation, and treatment considerations through hands-on training with
live models. Emphasis will be placed on patient assessment and clinical evaluation
(including psychological factors) for treatment, informed consent, pain management
considerations including recommended use of anesthetics, pertinent anatomy and
physiology of the skin, facial morphology (scarring, skin disorders, and diseases), the
healing process and post procedure instructions. The course will focus on implantation
techniques of the eyes, eyebrows, lips (liner and full lip), and beauty marks. Instruction in
color theory and blending using the Fitzpatrick classification model, correction and
camouflage, cleaning, sterilization and maintenance of equipment will be presented.
We will discuss and provide information on different types of equipment, legal and
insurance considerations, purchasing sources, growth and business opportunities, and
effective marketing measures.
