Haylee Jean Koonce AGCJ 407 Stage II Storyboard What advanced
Haylee Jean Koonce AGCJ 407 Stage II Storyboard What advanced elements make this site unique and/or more complete that your Stage I Site? In my Stage II Web Site I will incorporate advanced elements such as mouse-over links, buttons, and photos, flash picture shows, and flash animations. Each page will have mouse-over links and buttons. My “Past Champions” page will have a flash animation, and my “Photo Album Page will have will have a mouse-over feature that will change the picture from color to black and white. What research (provide five specific examples) is needed to provide accurate, factbased content for the topic featured in the Stage II site? In order to create a Web Site that is informative for its viewers I will use the following research: For my “Artificial Insemination” page I will use an article from the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Services entitled “Artificial Insemination for Beef Cattle.” http://osuextra.okstate.edu/pdfs/F-3164web.pdf I will also use an article from Biotopics entitled “The artificial insemination (AI) of cattle” http://www.biotopics.co.uk/edexcel/biotechnol/artins.html For my “Embryo Transfer” page I will use another article for the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service entitled “Embryo Transfer in Cattle.” http://osuextra.okstate.edu/pdfs/F-3158web.pdf For information on the Brahman Breed I will use the site: http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/cattle/brahman/. For information about our family history I will use the J.D. Hudgins Inc. Web site. http://www.jdhudgins.com/about_jdh.html How will complex or in-depth information be organized for the Stage II site? The only pages that will contain in-depth information on my Web site will be the “Artificial Insemination” and “Embryo Transfer” pages. In order to keep them organized I will use bold headings and subheadings to tell what each section is about. I will also make sure my information flows from top to bottom. How does writing for the Web differ from traditional print materials? When writing for the Web, we should write concisely, break up paragraphs, use lots of headings and subheadings, and use fonts that are easy on the eyes. We must keep in mind that reading things online can be more difficult than on paper, and its usually better to keep things short and sweet. How would you promote the Stage II site worldwide? I will promote my Web site through search engine visibility.
