In testing our dogs it means the medical specialty that deals with making diagnoses of diseases and conditions through the examination of tissue samples from the body. Dopram - stimulates respiration. It may be used to start or stimulate respiration in newborn puppies and kittens following a difficult birth or a C-section. Libido - overall sexual drive or desire for sexual activity Morphology - is a branch of biology dealing with the study of the form and structure of organisms and their specific structural features. This includes aspects of the outward appearance: shape, structure, color, pattern, as well as the form and structure of the internal parts like bones and organs. Motility - the ability to move spontaneously and actively. We want our dogs to produce sperm with great motility. Oxytocin – (neurohypophysial) hormone produced by the hypothalamus that facilitates birth. Relaxin - hormone produced by the ovary and the placenta with important effects in the female reproductive system and during pregnancy. In preparation for childbirth, it relaxes the ligaments in the pelvis and softens and widens the cervix. Whelp Wise - fetal heart rate monitoring device used during labor to determine fetal well-being. Early identification of problems will allow the breeder or veterinarian the opportunity to intervene with either the appropriate medication or a cesarean section before puppies are lost. http://www.collieclubofamerica.org https://www.facebook.com/colliebreededucation
