ADRA Appeal
nocktober is the ADRA Appeal in October that supports over 300 individuals and families in need each week in Victoria through: Asher Housing/JEM for
women, Vive Café, the Redwood Community Centre, 12 ER/Crisis Relief outlets and
ADRA’s Refugee and Migrant Project.
ADRA works in more than 120 developing
countries around the world, and has a
presence in almost 100 Australian communities www.adra.org.au.
With your help, we'll raise $1.6million in
order to help 63,000 people thrive. The
funds raised will help people at home and
overseas. More than just knocking on
doors, the ADRA Appeal is about changing lives around the world! Please email

Social Committee: Dessert for ADRA
hank you to all those that attended the
"Dessert for ADRA" on the 20th September. I believe everyone there really enjoyed their
dessert as well as fellowshipping with our
church family. Very happy to say that, $1,817.00
was raised on the night. Thank you all so much
for your generous contributions towards the
ADRA appeal. A special thank you to Corine Dabbadie (our pastry chef), who made those very
delicious desserts and the amazing cake with
cup cakes.
Social Committee: Annual Church Camp
A Big Thank You to all those that were able to
attend our annual church camp last weekend, and
for making it such an amazing time away. There
were just over 70 of us who were there for the
weekend and 5 Sabbath Day visitors. Everyone
there had a great time, fellowshipping together
from our daily worships, our morning stroll & prayer to the yummy food, games night, horse riding,
flying fox and our famous 'cootie championship' to
name a few. It wouldn't have been such a success
without so many of you - thank you once again.
Hope to see you all there next year! Details of November and December events coming up soon!
