Johnson, 43 of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday February 27, 2015, at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital. | Order of Service | Processional of Family Soft Music She was born February 28, 1971 in Oxford Mississippi, to Lonzo Paten and Pearl Orange Yancy. Her parents and her son King Louis Johnson preceded her in death. Reading of Scripture Old Testament: Elder Marvelle Cranford New Testament: Pastor Dennis Rice Pat confessed a hope in Christ at an early age, after moving from Mississippi to Missouri. Pat was a charter member of the Emmanuel House of Praise, and past member of Bethany Church of God and Christ and also attended True Believers Baptist Church, and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Pat enjoyed religious music, decorating, flower arranging, collecting china cabinets, was an avid writer, and received a scholarship for her literary efforts. Pat was a liberal giver to all worthy ministries, so much so, she gave $9000 at one time to various ministries as a “seed gift”. Pat also often affectionately called God, “Daddy”. Pat’s favorite male minister was Bishop T.D. Jakes, and her favorite female minister was Prophetess Juanita Bynum. Prayer Evangelist Mattie Williams Pat was a certified nursing assistant, a CMT, and received a degree from Three Rivers Community College. In addition, Pat worked at Arvin Manufacturing in Dexter, before becoming ill. Pat was very enthusiastic, energetic, compassionate, and caring toward others. If Pat could help anyone, in any manner, she would do so. She was very proud and often would not ask assistance from others. Pat loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors include her husband, Robert Johnson; a daughter Justice Mylei Johnson; a son Evidence Zoway Johnson, whom she affectionately called “ZZ”; a brother, Edward Yancy (Sylvia); four sisters; Evangelist Alberta Yancy, Missionary Annie Williams (Pastor Leroy), Sandy Phillips and Tina Thomas, all of Poplar Bluff; and five sibling in Mississippi and Tennessee; aunts and uncles: Lillie Frison and Geraldene Orange, of Memphis, TN, Rosie Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Exsenator Orange of Olive Branch, MS, Evan. Mattie Morgan, and Shirley Walton (Arthur) of Chicago, IL, and Earline P. Joiner of Oxford MS; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; her best friend, Tina Brown of Poplar Bluff, and a host of friends.
