In 2010, Hotel Emporium enacted a fully integrated Sustainability Awareness
program. The main objective for the program was to develop a corporate "green"
standard. The Eco-Plan included an Environmentally Friendly Work Place, Promotion
of Environmentally Friendly Products, and aiding Proactive Sustainable Organizations.
We are proud to state that our headquarters in Gardena, California has been
"green-ovated" and utilizes Sustainable Materials such as Bamboo flooring and LED
Lighting. In addition, all employees are enforced to use re-usable coffee mugs,
glassware, and other forms of tableware.
Our Eco-Friendly Plastic product incorporates a biodegradable additive (EcoPure)
which is ASTM tested and approved by U.S. Standards to fully biodegrade in standard
U.S. landfills. Our paper packaging is comprised of at least 30% Recycled material and
always utilizes Soy-Based Ink. This helps all of us reduce our carbon footprint on the
Earth and promote our Eco-Awareness initiative.
