ORRVILLE LIONS’ TALE Our very own Past President Lion Deb Mosier wins "Best of Category: Weather Phenomenon" in the Lions Environmental Photo Contest! Congratulations Lion Deb, what a beautiful picture, a well deserved acknowledgement! PAGE 2 My wonderful Orrville Lions: Though I haven’t seen much of you, thanks to my crazy busy season in the cheese store, my heart is with all of you. You have no idea how proud I am of all your accomplishments. We have one tough and mighty club, and you have gone above and beyond to help this community. Orrville LOVES Lions and it has been your hard work and kindness that has brought us all the attention. On all my Governor’s visitations, I constantly hear comments on how very warm the Orrville Lions are and I love that more than anything. They comment on your friendly handshake, your constant smiles and greetings. We started as a small and humble club in 2008, and have grown in numbers and accomplishments beyond belief. With us hosting our District Convention April 15 & 16, we have the opportunity to really shine. The Shisler Center will be rocking to an Elvis beat that weekend, with International Director Bob Libin and his wife Michelle from New York, as our speaker. Our Amish Country hospitality will wow them, I’m sure. I thank you in advance for helping make this the best convention ever. Orrville Lions know how to make things happen and I’m certain things will be swaying to Blue Hawaii!!! Details and registration forms will be sent out by Todd Imhoff in the next two weeks. Any help and ideas are welcomed. Thanks to Maria Carozza and Val Hall, convention co-chairs, for keeping things going and keeping me on the move. I have days that I don’t know what to concentrate on, it’s nice to have someone keeping me focused. See you at the next meeting!!!
