Designed and built to Lloyd’s specifications, JANDY also happens to be the last sailboat personally built by world famous Pacific Northwest Boat Builder, Vic Franck of Seattle USA. As you might imagine, combining the talents of Olin Stephens and Vic Franck, JANDY is an excellent example of world-class lines, design and craftsmanship and has been an award winning star of Pacific Northwest waters since her launch in 1963 ce. Her construction is carvel plank, Alaska Yellow Heart over French White Oak with Burma Teak stem, keelson, horn timber and transom with solid Teak house, cockpit and decks with box construction Sitka Spruce mast. Her physical condition is near perfect and features ample deck space topside, large cockpit & seated pilot station. Below, you find a rather roomy galley to Port featuring a 4 burner gimballed stove w/large oven/broiler, refrigerator, freezer and ample food lockage under counters and to outboard under deck. To Starboard, a comprehensive Nav Station with the aft Water Closet just forward. The Galley & Main Salon, fully foreward, enjoy a lofty portion of headroom at near 7’running the full length of down below. In the Main Salon to Starboard, a double berth is featured with bookshelf and storage above, under deck. Below, features a flat, stepless, Teak and Holly deck sole throughout the vessel with a small step up into the owners stateroom all the way forward. To Port, the main salon features a large U shaped settee with a turning table that converts into a large triple berth with single berth upper. Both sides of the Main Salon feature ample bookshelf and large under seat stowage areas. The lighting scheme throughout the vessel features polished brass DK “Cabin” yacht lamps with a large brass WC Oil Trawler Lamp and rare 6” Satin finished brass striking ships clock and barometer. The Main Salon also features a large glass hatch in the housetop over the table, 4, 14” rectangular portlights and 4 full cabin height deadlights aft. Foreward, from the Main Salon we find the Owner’s Water Closet w/shower to Port and large Oil Skin locker to Starboard. Continuing forward, the Owner’s Stateroom with a large triangle berth and chain locker fully forward with large stowage area in the forepeak. Cockpit/Pilot Station: RAYMARINE ST60+ Wind, Depth & Speed, FURUNO chartplotter/DGPS with ICOM 604 VHF Command Mic III Remote Station. NAV Station; FURUNO 1731 RADAR, ICOM 604 VHF Radiotelephone, ICOM M710 SSB w/ SSC pactor III data modem, WE FAX, WX SAT Receiver/WXtoImg, SAT image GRIB software & HP colour printer, Ship’s Station computer loaded with world class navigation software titles with worldwide charts, SIMEX MARK I Sextant, Safety: ACR GLOBALFIX PRO 406Mhz GPS/EPIRB.
