Home improvement loans are a great way to add value to your home, and they can be relatively easy to obtain. Typically home improvement loans are specific to an amount of a project, and lines of credit are designed to create additional flexibility if needed. We at DTCU will help you determine what type of equity position your property has, and where and how that equity can be used to complete a simple project or a remodel of your dreams. These cards come with 24/7 customer service and voice response access to get your transactions and balance. Reload cash on this card from $50 up to $2,000. Bryan Lent Knowing the project you hope to have Assistant VP Lending completed will allow you to ask good questions of contractors and material providers. Once you have the project planned it’s time for estimates from contractors or an itemized list of materials. For a do-it-yourself project this will help ensure that the amount of the loan or line of credit is correct. Home improvement products are designed to combine project ideas, labor, and materials into added value in your home. DTCU’s lending team has the experience and home improvement products to help, contact us today. Maybe the time to improve your home is now? EMV Chip Card Conversion Update You may have been hearing talk about EMV chip cards coming in credit and debit cards and we would like to update you on where DTCU is at with this project. EMV stands for Europay, MasterCard and VISA global standard for inter-operation of integrated circuit cards (chip cards). DTCU is in the process of converting our VISA credit cards to the new EMV chip card. We are on target to start reissuing expiring VISA credit cards with the new chip card sometime in fall/early winter 2015. Debit MasterCard conversion to EMV chip cards will follow in early 2016. As DTCU VISA and Debit MasterCards expire they will be replaced with the new chip card.
