Sedgemoor
Welcome to the Spring/Summer 2015 programme for
getset services in Sedgemoor.
Here you can find details of the groups we run,
community-run groups, events and Health groups.
Unless otherwise stated, groups are for parents
and carers with children aged 0-5 years.
We hope you will find something of interest for you
and your family in this programme.
Our getset services groups are run by the Family Support
team and sometimes by volunteers. The getset services
groups take place across Sedgemoor at venues including
Children’s Centres, community centres, libraries, village
halls, and the Travelling Children’s Centre. Ask a member
of the getset services team for more information.
Health groups are run by Health professionals, such as
Health Visitors, Midwives or Community Nursery Nurses.
Members of the getset services Family Support team may
also attend these groups to offer help and advice to parents.
Health groups are free of charge. For more information
please see our pages on Health-run groups.
Community groups are run by other providers and include
toddler groups, community-run information & advice groups,
volunteer-led and self-led groups, job clubs and baby cafés.
Always contact the providers of these groups before you
leave home, to make sure that the group is running.
