TIA League Media Kit Female Business and career hub About TIA League TIA League is a female career and business hub established for young career driven women and those that are passionate about entrepreneurship. Our programs are for girls, made especially for girls. We offer hands on practical skills, whether it be business or career, you have come to the right place. This is an opportunity for girls to come together to gain career development and pursue business opportunities while being influenced and mentored by like-minded women who have a interest for their well being and dreams. Our Mission *Bridging the gap of unemployment through practical entrepreneurial and career skills. *Teach girls how to start and run their own business’s from high school level till university level. *Being the best mentor, friend, sister and life coach that a girl needs. We know and understand the hardships that many young South African women face. Being young female entrepreneurs that have gone through similar struggles, we would like to use this opportunity to encourage our fellow sisters and help them become responsible and accountable for their futures THE TIA Girl *She is all ages’, classes and religions. *She's got a brilliant heart and beautiful mind. *She is forever a work in progress; she seeks to be confident in her own skin. *She is a doer, a businesswoman, career driven. *She sees the best in others, and is leaving this world better than she found it. Our Projects *The TIA Council – a high school and varsity program aimed at teaching girls how to start and run a business. The program is a one year project. The girls work as a team as they run their business, once the year ends the girls will part take in the liquidation of the company. *Dividing all their sales and sharing their profits, just like shareholders do* *TIA Ambassador - Sourcing events and activities that TIA and partner brands can get involved in. Build a network to communicate upcoming events, seminars and activities. Host and organise workshops in their communities. Find innovative ways to get women to connect with TIA *The Matric Dance drive – The TIA Legends run a campaign to make a girls matric dance come true by donating matric dance garments, shoes, jewellery etc. *TIA Events – We have quarterly networking session where girls get to be girls. - We talk everything business and personal branding. She feels she needs guidance What TIA can provide A business and career mentorship Business coach A self-esteem mentorship Career guidance and updates Brand Ambassador program THE TIA BRAND AMBASSADOR TIA brand ambassadors are made up of young, energetic and passionate young ladies who are an extension of the brand and embody what our company stands for. These are specially selected young ladies from various areas and communities and each of them are influencers and opinion leaders in their networks. TIA brand ambassadors are the fingers in the pulse and our voices in their communities. Their role to inspire like minded young women, get them to embrace TIA as a brand and a friend and really connect with women in their communities. The ambassadors are the crux to our brand’s consistent presence in different communities. Their role is to ensure that women of all ages are introduced to TIA, and ultimately make TIA top of mind when it comes to mentorships, business and career advise. Mosa discovered her passion for sowing through patterns she found lying around the house. She later developed this skill and took up sowing classes during her primary school years. After graduating from UFS she continued with her fashion business and worked on building her own clothing brand. In 2012 while living in Bloemfontein she established DIY Diva Club for career and aspiring business women who meet on a monthly basis. This idea started as a hobby which organically grew into a club which produced a monthly business and career magazine. Paballo Nkwe BsocSci Degree in Law & Sociology While studying at the University of Cape Town Paballo discovered her passion for the marketing industry. In 2009, after working as a part-time promoter for various brands she embarked on a journey to establish an events and marketing company (BANK Productions) with three of her friends. This later opened the door for her to become one of 14 national Black Berry Brand Ambassadors where she assisted the brand with marketing strategies within the youth market. In 2012 she was consulted to assist Elle Magazine's Marketing and PR team with conceptualising and executing the Style Reporter campaign nationally. In 2013 she was selected to become one of the faces for the Black Berry youth campaign that ran in South Africa and Nigeria.
