1. Open the cover of the bean container, and remove the coffee chute cover, the water
tank and drip tray and drip tray and coffee grounds container.

2. Remove the 4 housing screws using Torx size screw driver and remoe the cup warmer
plate

3. Pull of the grinding knob. Unscrew the 3 housing screws and remove the housing

4. Carefully remove the brew group encoder clamp as it may fall inside the machine.
5. Use the oval head key to remove the oval head screws from the back of the machine.

6. Remove the front door screw as circled above. The other screws can be left in place

7. Remove the steam knob by using the flat screw driver. Carefully push out the steam
knob from each side, as indicated in the green arrows.
Carefully lift the mounting plate to unlatch the steam valve assembly from the mounting
plate. Door should open about halfway.

8. To unlock the front door, run in the blue marked point using the medium screw driver
and unlatch the hose connector. Lift the retaining tab very gently until the lock is
released. Pull the connector with the other hand to the back.

9. The front and rear of the machine is now exposed and accessible to perform
maintenance and repairs.

Instructions to close the machine after maintenance and repair
First, connect the hose assembly to the height adjustable coffee spout. Ensure that the
retaining tab properly locks into the connector.

Replace the steam pipe and steam pipe connection o-rings.
Re-install the steam pipe and steam pipe connection and connect the pins into the slots on
the front door. Ensure the steam valve is sucessfully locked in to the mounting plate from
the top.
Replace the steam valve knob; push it in the hole. It should lock in easily.

Before replacing the top cover, re-install the encoder clamp. Ensure that insulating plate is
not damaged, the hoses are not bent or squashed.
Insert the cup warmer plate and tighten the screws.
Replace the water tank , used coffee container, and the drip tray.
