Mount Engadine Lodge
Located 45 minutes from Canmore, Alta. in the heart of Kananaskis
Country, Mount Engadine Lodge has all the elements of romance. Surrounded by dense forest and dozens of creeks that flow into pristine rivers
neighbouring the lodge, this nature-lover’s paradise also offers many comforts to make for a relaxing stay.
The main lodge has two wood-burning fireplaces surrounded by cozy
couches and chairs and large windows showcasing the lodge’s spectacular surroundings. Plus a wood-fired sauna on the large wrap-around deck
offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the wilderness after a beautiful day
of skiing.
Accommodations in the Main Lodge have been recently renovated.
Twin and king bed configurations accommodate up to six guests. The
Chickadee Room is available for single travelers. The Meadows Edge Chalet
also features three separate rooms, each with a private bath and a large
deck overlooking the meadow.
The area features 5.5 kilometres of trails that are groomed by snowmobiles. “They are quite narrow, but have a quaint, magical feel to them,” says
manager Mallory Deyne. The curvy trails pass through a couple of beautiful meadows. “These are the most romantic ski trails for miles,” says Deyne.
Mount Engadine Lodge is a naturelover’s paradise with great skiing and
cozy accommodations for a romantic
getaway you won’t soon forget.
