A SUPER FAMILY
WITH MANY STYLES
The Perec type family pays tribute to the genius of
French writer Georges Perec. It consists of three subfamilies: Perec, Perec Ludique, Perec Lunatique.
The regular Perec is a sensitive sanserif grotesque
for text & display, including 15 romans, italics and
smallcaps declined in 5 weights. Its delicate curves
make it worth at large body sizes, where elegance and
flair are a priority. On the othe hand, its counters'
openness make it also a good choice for setting long
texts and immersive reading.
Perec Ludique is a set of playful variants: Cubes is
a 3d crossword font; Oncle Jacques is a chromium-like
font; Pochoir is an unconventional stencil; Scripte has
linking & unlinking letters and many ligatures to give
the text a flowing & nostalgic feeling; and Scripte Deco
wears a nice optical illusion with hypnotic effects.
Perec Lunatique is a rounded sans grotesque with
15 fonts: romans, italics, and smallcaps declined in 5
weights, all suitable for both text & display. They all
have crazy ligatures plus the usual contextual sorts.
