INTRODUCTION
Colgate-Palmolive is a global company operating in more than 200 countries and
territories. Dedicated to oral health, Colgate cultivates strong relationships with the
dental profession, international experts and universities to deliver the most up to date
scientific research and the most innovative products to meet the evolving needs of dental
professionals and their patients. Our Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program has provided
oral health education kits to Year 3 students for the past 15 years reaching over 5 million
children throughout Australia. Through the Global Child Dental Health Task Force, we
provide support for sustainable oral health promotion projects to needy communities.
345,000 kits have been distributed since the beginning of this project in 2007.
Through our Professional Relations Program, Colgate works closely with key professional
groups to educate dental professionals, pharmacists, pharmacy assistants and the public,
to raise oral health awareness.
