Our staff works hard to try to meet the recreational needs of the community. They have planned exciting special events including “Soup with Santa” (hope it doesn’t get in his beard!), House Decorating Contest, Winter Wonderland and the Chili Cook-Off and Concert. New programs include fencing, ZUMBA Hip Hop for teens, After School Floor Hockey, Dramatic Explorations (Theater Workshop), Adult Self Defense, various new fitness programs and Family Friendly Quick Fixes. For the 55+ group we continue to offer active classes, opportunities for creative expression and delicious breakfasts and lunches. As weather permits, there will be supervised skating at Mill Pond. When there is sufficient snow, families can enjoy sledding at Bittner Park and Baldwin School and cross country skiing at Bittner Park and East River Preserve. We encourage you to stay active during the winter months and benefit from the opportunities we provide for physical fitness, creative expressions and family fun activities.
