VISITING ANFIELD GUIDE

GETTING TO THE GROUND:
For up to date travel information on the day of the game, follow the Matchday
Merseyside Police twitter account @MerPolLFC
TRAIN:
Lime Street Railway Station is two miles from Anfield. You can take a taxi from Lime
Street (fares usually cost between £7- £9) or buses go from nearby Queen Square
Bus Station. On matchdays you can use the Merseyrail network to link with the
Soccerbus service from Sandhills Station.
BUS:
From Liverpool City Centre, take the 26 or 27 from Paradise Street Interchange,
17 from Queen Square Bus Station or the 917 from St Johns Lane, directly to the
ground. Once the match is finished the 917 bus picks up near the junction of Walton
Breck Road and Sleepers Hill returning to the City Centre.

The 68/168, which operates between Bootle and Aigburth, and the 14 and 19
(from Queen Square) stop a short walk away from the ground.

Anfield is easily accessible via public transport routes. Use the handy online
Journey Planner to establish the best route.
The Soccer Bus runs from Sandhills Station, on the Merseyrail Northern Line,
to Anfield for all Liverpool home Barclays Premier League and cup matches.
The Soccerbus runs two hours before each match (last bus from Sandhills Station
is approximately 15 minutes before kick-off) and for 50 minutes after the final

We have a limited number of spaces within only 9 minutes of the ground.
St Domingo Car Park (see location overleaf) is available on matchdays
and can be accessed up to three hours before each game.

Car park passes are available to purchase on the day, from the car park gate.
Passes are £8 and there are a limited number available on a first come first
served basis.
The Centenary Stand Car Park has a limited number of spaces available
on non-matchdays.
CYCLE:
FAN SUPPORT:
On a matchday in the ground if you have any questions or need any
assistance please ask our friendly and welcoming fan support staff.
These staff are positioned in a number of areas around the ground
next to an information flag.
LFC stewards are also positioned around the ground and are
recognisable by their high visibility jackets.

Home Match Days:
Please note that on home match days the Ticket Office opening times may
vary depending on the kick off time.
Visiting Supporters:
If you have any questions regarding your tickets, staff from your club should be
available via telephone to answer any queries you may have. If you do not have
the details, please ask at the Ticket Office and they may be able to help you.
Disabled Supporters: Windows:
Please note there is a low counter at the Ticket Office window which is fitted
with a hearing loop.
Food Kiosks:
We have low counters available in kiosks across the ground which offer menus
in alternative formats.
If you are cycling to the game, the LFC Cycle Hub is a FREE and secure service
to store your bike, brought to you by Liverpool Football Club and Cycling Projects.
Toilets:
Accessible toilets are located throughout the ground and are available
in the family park.
The LFC Cycle Hub is situated in Stanley Park Car Park, a few minutes’ walk from
the Anfield Road end of the ground. Simply ride to the Cycle Hub, where staff will
register and secure your bike. You will be given a receipt which must be presented
on collection. Cycle Hub can provide locks but you can use your own if you wish.
Hearing Loops:
Hearing loops are fitted at the ticket office, the retail store and at selected
low counter catering kiosks across the ground.
Audio Headsets:
TAXI:
Taxis from the city centre to Anfield usually cost between £7-£9. Post-match
taxis can be difficult to locate and we would therefore suggest fans consider
alternative travel arrangements.
Visually impaired supporters are able to order a headset in advance
of the game from the disability supporters team. Should you require a headset
on the day, please see your nearest steward.

BOOT ROOM SPORTS CAFE:
The Boot Room Sports Cafe at Anfield is open 7 days a week, offering freshly
prepared food including favourites such as steaks, grills, pizzas, burgers, salads and
pasta dishes all served in a unique and family friendly environment. To book a table

FAMILY PARK AND FOOD VILLAGE:
Based on Anfield Road, the Family Park and Food Village welcomes
both home and visiting families. The Park is a great place to visit -activities
include live music, penalty shoot outs and our very own Club mascot 'Mighty
Red' will be on hand to meet and greet our younger fans. Within the Park we
have catering bars which offer a variety of hot
and cold food and drink.

Halal Food:
Halal food is offered in the Family Park L4 kiosk. It is also offered
in all hospitality areas.
Anfield offers an array of meal deals, burgers, hot dogs and pies in Kiosks
throughout the ground. Why not treat yourself at one of our ‘Boot Room Sports Cafe’
Kiosks which specialise in gourmet match day meals? You can visit the Gourmet
Kiosk before entering the ground located Kop side in-between the Tour Centre
and Ticket Office.

Bring home a souvenir of your trip to Anfield. The store is located
on Walton Breck Road.
There are many local pubs around the area. The Arkles Pub (located just next
to Anfield Road) and the Sandon (located on Walton Breck Road) welcomes home
and away supporters.

Toilets are located throughout the stadium on a matchday. Outside toilets are
located at the Main Stand and Family Park, baby changing facilities are also
available at the Family Park.
On a non-matchday toilets are available in the Centenary Stand and near the
Boot Room Sports Cafe and The Liverpool FC Story entrances.
CASH POINT:
A cash point is located outside The Kop entrance to the Stadium.
WIFI:
