A chalkboard wall contains colorful scrawls from bar goers, and the menu of burgers and beer-battered onion rings sticks with delicious tradition. The bar also offers hip night-at-AMC alternatives with movie nights on Sunday-Wednesday. Accompanying snacks are meant to complement the theme of the movie; past movie and dinwhiskey road ner nights have included fish tacos paired with Jaws. Regardless of your age, what you do or how you eat, one universal rule applies: If you move, your body burns energy. In this case, think of energy as calories. Knowing what it takes to get your body to burn more energy is the key to revving up your body’s ability to ward off unnecessary fat and boosting your metabolism. While this part of your metabolism may only use about 10-15 percent of your daily burn, it has a big impact on the amount of body fat you store. 4. Thermic Effect of Food The moment anything with calories enters your mouth, you actually start burning calories. The fitter you become, the more calories your body burns when eating.
